AARON Awards - Ad of the Week

Barbie has entered the machine.

Created for the new Barbie Signature x YOON release, EVERYWHERE ELSE takes the doll’s futuristic, robotic design and builds an entire universe around it.
And what a universe.

Glossy plastic. Chrome. Strange dream logic. Anime energy. Fashion-film cool. A robotic cat. Everything feels slightly synthetic, slightly surreal and completely intentional. It’s like Barbie woke up somewhere between Tokyo street culture and a very beautiful sci-fi fever dream.

What we especially love is that they haven’t tried to make Barbie “real”. They’ve gone in exactly the opposite direction. She’s unmistakably a doll, and the artificiality becomes the aesthetic.

It makes the product feel less like a collectible being advertised and more like a character arriving from another world.

we filmed this 48 hours ago in our backyard and now it’s yours. who knew a song about being too sad to even get up to water a house plant would so fun to shoot and create. so thankful for this absolute all-star team that consistently shows up 110% ready to rock time after time again. editing this video together in ONE SINGLE DAY was almost as fun as shooting it. probably the most fun music video we’ve ever made. that being said…

“being sad is overrated” is now yours 🥹🏝️🤘🏼🖤

IT’S A BEACH GOTH SUMMER BESTIES!!!!! ⛱️💅✨

The full comparison in our recent @lumalabsai post.

Working with actors like Tamara Bruketta is such an exciting step forward into a more playful, performance-first future. We’re excited to do more and bigger things with actors in the new year.
