One thing I always say is I don’t work with ordinary women. And God kept reminding me of this on my way to the class on Saturday, he Said clearly “the women I am sending are not ordinary women, So I need you to prepare them.”

@morethanjustmakeup__ experience was the framework of All Things Beauty and God©️ it was the framework that sometimes we need the extra nudge to see where God is taking us and then we can strategize the steps to get there.

My friend called me to say she felt emotional because it really reminded her that there is a plan for her! That will prosper her and not harm her.

This day not only restored my hope but I know it restored the women in the room. To just have some girl time and to laugh at my dry jokes, eat good food, and fellowship. That’s what godly community feels like.

Thank you @drhauschka.usa for sponsoring the event with your amazing bronzing tint

Thank you @localhousenj for the amazing food and excellent presentation

Thank you my @geliforlefac who’s been with me since the beginning of my career for always showing up for me I love you!

You were the calm to my storm, you kept me accountable and pushed me and when I called you answered and moved with precision and excellence. I bless you Emerlyn! May God do exceedingly abundantly above all you ask or think.

And to the Ladies who trusted me my heart is so full. Thank you. Your support strengthened me in ways I couldn’t imagine and I just pray you left knowing God sees you!

Rounding off Black History Month with some of our favorite necklaces from Studio Sale No. 1. Classic Black hairstyles were the inspiration for these two delicate KHIRY Stoneware pendants pictured above. Swipe to see the full story behind each piece.

1/1 handmade ceramic pendants available to shop at www.khiry.com

“Slicked Pendant on Rose Quartz Beaded Cord”

A porcelain orb pendant with a light pink hand-applied glaze. Inspired by a super smooth and sculptural sideways slick down hairstyle that was the picture of elegance while Mohammed was growing up in Chicago. A piece that embodies both the softness and sharpness of a beautiful slicked doo. Strung on a stretch cord hand-beaded with Rose Quartz.

“Black Plaits Pendant on Onyx and Quartz Beaded Cord”

A multi-finish black stoneware pendant strung on a cotton cord beaded with Black Onyx and White Quartz beads. The beaded collar cords of this necklace sit nicely on the neck with a regal scalloped effect. The domed sections evoke an abundant landscape stretching towards the horizon. The title of this piece draws attention to the way that intricately braided hair resembles a bountiful black earth, a meditation on how both the hairstyle and the earth link abundance and Black self representation.
