When I launched @exhibitmaepodcast my sole goal was to amplify the voices of victims and share their stories as accurately as possible. Last summer, I had the honor of speaking with Denise Huskins for Episode Seven, and her story, truly unimaginable, left a lasting impact. Hers, alongside her husband Aaron’s, transcends the typical true crime narrative, addressing issues such as victim-blaming, media misrepresentation, and false accusations. At its core, their story is one of hope emerging from despair. I’m thrilled and proud of them for sharing their truth in their new documentary series, ‘American Nightmare,’ premiering on @netflix on January 17, 2024. I promise, it’ll leave you speechless. You won’t want to miss it. [full trailer available in my reels]

Update: “American Nightmare” hit #1 on Netflix in 88 Countries and holds the record for the biggest debut of any docu-series in Netflix’s top 10 history. 🤯 So proud! 🥹❤️🙏🏼

Here’s my new drawing of the lovely and talented @gelseamae - I absolutely loved this reference except that it was really low res but I was up for the challenge & had a lot of fun with this one, especially the hair.

I did this drawing in graphite, white charcoal and conte (with just a touch of white gel pen) on toned strathmore paper. Its 11” x 14”
