Today marks 1 year since my 7 year run at Warner Music Group came to an end. It was shocking at first and I certainly didn’t know what the future held, but I can see this has been one of the best years of my life.

I got engaged to the love of my life @gemma_rocha, focused on turning my music career into a full time business, played 2 major festivals with the legend @ykaizzk and the boys @jackmaitradrums & @joey.farber, traveled up and down the state for gigs, went on incredible vacations to Colombia and Mexico, released my first single in 3 years, and started working with a new and up and coming sync company, @animastudios.

I’ve played some bizarre events too, 3 funerals (one at a casino), bass on Hitch! The Musical (which had nothing to do with the movie), and strange proposals (she def wasn’t feeling it as much as he was), but they all paid pretty damn good, and I’ve got stories for days now. Just wanted to share this to say: sometimes we need that push, even if we didn’t see it coming.

Spring once again is proving to me that it’s a season of transformation and healing and BABY! Spring did its big one this year.

My baby bro Devin graduated high school yesterday and will be headed to UC Berkeley in the fall. My baby, baby Jaiden graduated middle school and is headed to high school (no, I’m not okay 😭).

And me? Whew. Too many transitions happening in my life to fit into one Instagram post. But per usual, I am blessed with amazing family, friends, and fun opportunities. I am deeply loved, I am still loving deeply, and I am supported every step of the way.

God is GOOD. 🙏🏾✨
