Had a great walk around Kirkstall Abbey today with our dog. We parked at the Bridge shopping centre in Leeds and I treated myself to a few books at The Works so I photographed them on our walk.

PARANORMAL COWBOYS? SIGN ME UP! 🐺🤠
I really, really loved this book. The paranormal elements mixed with a small-town cowboy vibe was the exact seasonal crossover I needed. This was my first time reading Gemma Morr, and I thoroughly enjoyed her writing style—I’ll definitely be diving into more of her work.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Yellowstone, this dual POV story completely sucked me in. We follow Elin, a hybrid fighting her own instincts while dealing with being an outcast after her mother’s disappearance. Then there’s Clark—our new Alpha who is so deeply caring and constantly puts his pack first (swoon).

The setting, the character depth, and the looming mystery surrounding Elin’s mom kept me turning pages late into the night. Honestly, if you loved Bride by Ali Hazelwood, you need to add this to your TBR right now. I am so excited for the next book in this series! 🙌🏼

I am finally diving into Sacrifice Me by @gemmamorr ! 🤠🐺 I have been dying to start this paranormal cowboy romance, but before I get lost in the Yellowstone pack, we need to settle a debate.

Looking at this setup, you can probably guess my stance... I tend to do both! I love the cozy weight of a physical book, but you truly cannot beat the convenience (and nighttime reading) of a Kindle.

It’s been an emotional day, hitting a massive milestone that I only dreamed of this time last year. One million page reads (across Salt & Sweet and Spicy Honey) is huge for me 😭

I feel like I have become alive again since I started writing. I have a lot of wonderful things in my life but writing is the thing that’s MINE. I get to create these characters and worlds, following whatever whims I want and sprinkling in Easter eggs for my fellow Brits - and my family and friends. It’s why beans on toast has a moment in Whiskey Sour and Rolo yoghurts have a whole joke in Spicy Honey. It’s why my sister can spot references from our childhood and why my husband gives me pointed looks over certain chapters. In Salt & Sweet, Luke proclaims that he wants to eat Korean fried chicken and watch Criminal Minds with Emmy on a Friday night - that’s something my husband and I do.

Writing books is hard at times and finding readers is even harder in this age of slop. There are a million setbacks and ways to feel discouraged. But if you get lucky and you find your people, there is no feeling like it.

Thank you, lovely readers, for taking a chance on my books. I write them straight from the heart and it fills me with joy - and humbles me somewhat - that you’ve taken them into yours ♥️
