Domaine Armand Rousseau Gevrey-Chambertin 2021 🇫🇷 This is a beautiful expression of Pinot Noir from our beloved Burgundy. We enjoyed this wine as a way of looking forward to our upcoming holiday and to celebrate the anticipation of experiencing the 2026 harvest firsthand. In the glass, the wine displays a brilliant ruby-red colour. The nose is refined and complex, offering aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries, and wild strawberries, complemented by floral notes of violets, subtle spices, a hint of orange zest, and a distinctive mineral character. On the palate, the wine is vibrant and harmonious, with pure red fruit, refreshing acidity, and silky tannins that create an elegant structure and a long, refined finish. Drinking: now ~ 2035 Own score: 93/100 Cheers 🍷 🍇 🍇 🍇 🍇 🍇 #instawine #winestagram #winelife #foodie #winelover

Giaconda Estate Vineyard Chardonnay, Beechworth, ‘23 🇦🇺 Every now and then, it’s refreshing to venture beyond the French Chardonnays we know so well and hold in such high regard. Admittedly, we’ve always been somewhat sceptical of screw caps. This bottle was opened during Cesar’s BYOB at Karel V, together with the importer, who casually mentioned that only six bottles had made their way to the Netherlands. Expectations, needless to say, were high. From the outset, this is a wine that demands patience rather than instant admiration. The nose initially shows pronounced flinty reduction, tightly coiled and almost austere, hinting at a wine with enormous potential still waiting to unfold. A generous decant is richly rewarded. With time, the aromatics blossom into an intricate mosaic of white peach, nectarine, lime, pink grapefruit and blood orange, underpinned by a striking mineral purity. The palate is nothing short of compelling. Powerful yet exquisitely poised, it combines a silky, almost creamy texture with laser-like acidity that brings remarkable focus and energy. There is depth without weight, richness without excess. Chalky minerality runs like a spine through the wine, carrying the concentrated citrus and stone fruit into a finish of extraordinary length and precision, where subtle oak is perfectly integrated. Most importantly, don’t be deceived by the screw cap. This is a profound Chardonnay of genuine pedigree—one that stands comfortably alongside many of the world’s finest expressions of the variety. It is a wine of remarkable finesse, complexity and longevity, and a powerful reminder that greatness is defined by what is in the glass, not by what seals the bottle. Drinking: now ~ 2045 Own score: 97-98+ /100 Cheers 🍇 🍇 🍇 🍇 🍇 #winetime #instawine #sharewine #photooftheday #bucketlistwine

Both big bottles where on our wishlist. We met Bea during a visit at a great winemaker in Burgundy. We promissed her that we would try her own made Brunello. Little did we know that Bea made such fantastic wines😍 Stella di Campalto, Podere San Giuseppe, Brunello di Montalcino Bacia ‘19🇮🇹 Very rare wine, and a privilege to finally taste this one. Full-bodied, powerful wine with aromas of dark fruit. Dark cherry fruit, with cedar box, autumnal spice, mentholated herbs, cocoa, leather and about a dozen other flavors with substantial structure and lift. Tremendous long finish. Praised for its complexity and beautiful balance. The 2019 Bacia is a bombshell beauty. Drinking: 2029 ~ 2055 Own score: 97/100 Vega Sicilia, Unico gran reserva 🇪🇸 pfff big and bold bottle of juice. Cassis, plum, cinnamon and tobacco. The palate is very intense and long with hints of plum, espresso, dark chocolate, cassis and spice notes. The tannins are fine and although plentiful, they don’t distract from the flavours, which echo the nose and goes on in a great finish. These wines are very special. My, oh my this is wonderful stuff! Drinking: now ~ 2050 Own score: 94+/100 A privalige to drink them next to eachother. Both #bucketlistwine for us🙌🏻 Cheers🍷 🍇 🍇 🍇 🍇 🍇 #instawine #winelife #winelover #lifestyle #sharingwine #winelover #love #photooftheday #beautiful #picoftheday #happy #follow #instagram #instadaily #beauty #friends #instalike #smile #photo #life #music #amazing #nofilter #instamood #foodporn #lifestyle #stelladicompalto #vegasicilia #unico

William Kelley, Bourgogne Rouge, Tête de Cuvée, ‘21🇫🇷 There some bottle that are hard to get. But of this cuvee there where only 292 bottle made, so you can imagine how rare this bottle is. Thanks for sharing @gemmink79 @germainebronsteijn The wine is made of Kelley’s two domaine vineyards; Beaune 1er cru Les Chouacheaux (90%) and Côte de Beaune les Pierres Blanches (10%). Magnificent nose with notes of spices, smoke and mature red fruit. Silky tannin structure, mineral driven, hints of cherries and berries and this all brings incredible depth and length. This is in our opinion not a Bourgogne rouge, it’s at least a 1er cru, or even a Grand Cru. Stunningly good 🙌🏻 #bucketlistwine Drinking: now ~ 2036 Own score: 94+/100 Cheers🍷 🍇 🍇 🍇 🍇 🍇 #instawine #winelife #winelover #lifestyle #sharingwine #winelover #love #photooftheday #beautiful #picoftheday #happy #follow #instagram #instadaily #beauty #friends #instalike #smile #photo #life #music #amazing #nofilter #instamood #foodporn #lifestyle #williamkelley #teteducuvee #domainekelley

Domaine Pierre-Olivier Garcia, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Les Charmois ‘21 🇫🇷 Do you recognize that moment that you bought one bottle of a domaine, just to try it? And after the first sip you immediately regret that you didn’t bought more. Well, that happend us with this one. What a beauty! It’s like smelling a rose garden mixed with strawberry’s and lavender. A very expressive nose with layers of precise fruit and delicate floral aromas. The palate has the characteristic power of Nuits-Saint-Georges with velvety tannins balanced by refreshing acidity and a long finish. Yes, very young. But you guys have to try this #bucketlistwine. Post 11/13 🍇 Domaine Ponsot, Corton-Charlemagne ‘18 🇫🇷 It’s starting to get boring, but here is another bucketlistwine coming. And here’s a spoiler, the last two will also be wines for on your list😉 Aromas of white flowers, pear, vanilla pod and white currants. A medium to full-bodied, bright and chalky wine that’s pure and precise. Brilliant finish that went on for a while. You can put this away for a few decades. This Corton was amazing. Thanks @dannylohr 🙏🏻 Drinking: now ~ 2048 Own score: 95/100 Cheers 🍷 🍇 🍇 🍇 🍇 🍇 #winetime #instawine #winestagram #champagne #food #wines #winery #winelife #vineyard #instagood #foodie #vin #finewine #lifestyle #redwine #foodporn #winemoments #winelover #greatwine #instawine #winetasting #beauty #Cheers #lifestyle #sharingwine #winelover #wineloving #winemoment #cortoncharlemagne #ponsot #domaineponsot

Post 4/13 🍇 Opus One, Napa Valley ‘10 🇺🇸 Post nr. 4 brings the best of two worlds in one bottle. And this one is well aged so we where very curious what it brings. First sniff is very elegant with lush aromas of fresh red and blue fruit, baking spices, vanilla, accompanied with delicate spring flowers. The juice is amazing, full with black cherry and blackberries. Beautiful long finish that goes on and on. Amazing wine and a true #bucketlistwine.
