i think one of the strangest parts about life is how little we notice ourselves changing. we’re so focused on where we still need to go that we forget to look back at the person we used to be. psychologists call this the “end of history illusion,” where people consistently underestimate how much they’ll change in the future, even though they’ve already changed so much. i think it can be a good reminder that whatever you’re struggling with today probably won’t define you forever, and if it does, it usually works out in your favour…

Back to what I was saying; me and Xan did a cover of dumb by nirvana, I honestly wished he met me sooner, there’s so many songs we could’ve done and I know there will be an opportunity we will do it again because 1 is never enough. Drumming ever since 9th grade has been my passion, I love performing with the people I love. To my friends and family, I want to let you guys know that I will never take u guys for granted, you’ve been there for all my highs and lows and probably more lows and highs in the future and I love y’all for dealing with me, takes a lot of strength and patience lmao. To my friend Xander, I appreciate the times we hang out, I never take them for granted and you’re forever my favourite moshing bro, you and mei are the perfect couple and I hope you guys grow old together. To my precious dear Stella, you’re the first and last person I think about in my day and I cannot picture a better day, when we first sat and talked to each other I’m almost confident it was love at first sight, everyday I get more comfortable with you which you can tell by my weirdness, I was never comfortable with anyone in person like I’ve been with you and I thank u for that opportunity to be myself, you’ve been my first everything and I can’t wait for more first experiences with you my petite angel 💋🫶🏼. For your friends, thank you for the laughs you’ve gave me for making my lunch almost unforgettable, I look forward for more lunches like the ones I had, and last and certainly not least, to my hg, aka Dawson cheek, aka bonbon, aka panicatthediscostan2, my best friend forever Bonnee. With the shit we dealt with I’m surprised we’re still friends, but if there’s any person I’d rather share a rocky relationship with, it would be you because I know we will get out of it, you’re my biggest inspiration with the music I listen, the overpriced band shirts I buy, and the drums I play and I cannot thank you enough for sticking through, now that’s enough from me, I will come back to my regular schedule program of drawings lmao.
