Meet Jennette Brett

Jennette Brett creates her beautiful ‘Mindful Angels’ as reminders of hope for the moments when we need it most. Each piece carries a message meant to encourage, comfort, and remind us that there is always something to hold onto.

Jennette’s inspiration began at home. Growing up, her mother collected angels and filled their house with her own reminders of faith and protection. That childhood experience stayed with Jennette and eventually inspired her to create her own ‘Mindful Angels’.

Her work is also deeply inspired by the people around her and her desire to share her faith with others. Jennette adds a personal touch to each canvas by incorporating meaningful scriptures and quotes, creating pieces that feel both beautiful and intentional.

For as long as she can remember, Jennette has used her creativity as a way to give to others. She continues that tradition by creating something that can bring encouragement, hope, and a little light into someone’s day.

We are so grateful to have Jennette’s meaningful work at The Foyer and to share pieces that carry such a powerful message of hope and connection.

Come discover Jennette Brett’s Mindful Angels in person at The Foyer!

Meet Maize Designs

Maize Designs is a family-run interior design business built around a love for beautiful spaces, meaningful pieces, and the people who bring a home to life.

Molly Maize found her passion for interiors through the influence of her mother and grandmother. Her mother, Ann, has spent all of her life with a passion for interiors, retail, and running her own store. After studying interior design at LSU, Molly combined that family inspiration with her own creative vision to build Maize Designs alongside her family.

For the Maize family, their customers are truly the highlight of what they do. They love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and helping curate spaces that feel personal, comfortable, and full of happiness. Every home has a story, and they enjoy helping their clients bring that story to life through thoughtful design.

You can find four rooms of Maize Designs at The Foyer, filled with everything from lighting and serving pieces to furniture, decor, and so much more. Each space offers a chance to discover pieces that can bring personality and warmth into your own home.

We’re so happy to have Maize Designs as part of The Foyer community and to share their passion for creating homes where people can feel truly comfortable and happy.

Meet Julie Bergeron

Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Julie Bergeron’s artistic journey has been deeply rooted in her love for ceramics.

Working primarily with ceramics, Julie loves experimenting with different techniques and details, with gold leaf being one of her favorite elements to incorporate into her pieces. The combination of ceramic and gold creates a beautiful balance of texture, warmth, and elegance.

One of Julie’s absolute favorite parts of creating is working on commissions. She finds motivation in collaborating directly with customers, bringing their ideas to life and creating something that feels truly personal to them.

We are so happy to have Julie as part of The Foyer community and to showcase the work of a local designer whose creative journey began right here in Baton Rouge.

Come see Julie Bergeron’s beautiful ceramic pieces in person at The Foyer and discover a little bit of Louisiana craftsmanship for yourself.

Meet Natascia Favaron

Originally from Padova, Italy, Natascia Favaron grew up surrounded by the beauty and history of Italian art. Being immersed in such a creative environment from an early age deeply influenced her love for painting and shaped the way she sees the world around her.

After moving to the United States, Natascia’s artistic journey took off in new and exciting directions. Adapting to a new environment encouraged her to dive deeper into painting and explore the expressive possibilities of oil.

Nature remains Natascia’s greatest inspiration. From its colors and textures to its ever-changing beauty, she finds endless stories to translate onto the canvas. Her paintings invite viewers to appreciate the details and wonder found in the natural world.

Natascia also loves creating meaningful pieces through commissions. One of her ongoing specialties is pet portraits, giving people the opportunity to celebrate the animals who hold such a special place in their lives.

We are so happy to showcase Natascia’s work at The Foyer and share her unique perspective, influenced by both her Italian roots.
