Issa wrap on #TIFF26. 21 movies watched over 11 days. The best part of it though was all the times I got to hang with the many, many friends I’ve been lucky to make during and in-between screenings. Even better was seeing long-time online homies that I haven’t seen in years or for the first time ever. Grateful to both @tiff_net and @cgmagonline for letting me be a part of it once again. Let’s do it again next year. And now begins the task of writing up about everything, so stay tuned to CGM for a lot of coverage on the way from myself and the rest of the team.

The last 2 days have been very Fast & Furious filled 🔥 Got to ride the new Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift coaster thanks to @gene9892 , then celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first movie with a screening the next day. I FINALLY GOT TO RIDE FAST AND FURIOUS: HOLLYWOOD DRIFT!!! I have been waiting so long for Universal Studios Hollywood to get a REAL rollercoaster (sorry to the Mummy I still love you) and this has been worth the wait. So many of my fave coaster features in one!!! Inversions, spinning cars, launches, all on the top of a hillside in Hollywood. How crazy! 🏁❤️‍🔥 #lifeatush @unistudios Our first ride actually had a malfunction and we went through the entire back half BACKWARDS, this picture is so funny to me. Just a casual weekend in the multiverse.💥 Another @comic_con for the books! Younger me would not believe all the experiences and friends we get to see at her favorite convention! Favorite things from the weekend: the con floor, lanterns experience, and doomsday. The night of 1000 Depps (and Alice)! Meeting Ebenezer with @chadhatter @logan_allison_ @tallglassofty @mrpinskiprops was a day to remember! The Comic Con Masquerade with our two cosplay groups For the Better and Zero to Hero! And we won!For the Better took home Most Beautiful and Best Visual Media Design. Zero to Hero won Audience Favorite and Most Humorous 🎉 So proud of all the craftsmanship, time, and creativity that went into making these numbers happen! I had a blast helping make these costumes and perform again! Thank you Chad, Logan, and Nathaniel for everything! ZERO TO HERO ⚡️ Our Oz group takes over SDCC! Catch Dorothy and her bestie Tin Man at it again @kuehlaesthetics Somehow convinced @imjosevelazquez to come out to San Diego again! Year ✌🏼 All the con pals! Couldn’t survive the con without them! That’s a wrap! 🎬 Grateful for all my Comic Con friends. So many reunions, so many new friendships. Thank you all.🥹🫶 To everyone I didn’t get a chance to photograph this year, let’s make it happen next year! 📸 This year, my sister had a pretty bad asthma flare up, so we had to take Comic Con a lot slower than usual. So many people checked in on us and showed us so much kindness. It truly meant a lot. Even though it wasn’t the Comic Con I had planned, I actually enjoyed slowing down for a change. Every year, I leave San Diego with even more wonderful memories than before.🥹 Next year, we’ll both be back healthy and ready to run around Comic Con again! 💪 Thank you and see you at SDCC 2027! ー 日本から参加されたみなさんもお疲れさまでした！ お会いできたみなさんもありがとうございました。 また来年(今年？)お会いしましょう☺️ 日本は暑い日が続いていますので、 どうぞお身体に気をつけてお過ごしください。 やっぱり、日本の湿気はすごいや💦

Another SDCC is in the books and what a fabulous time it was!!! Only at SDCC can I walk into a party to find Celeborn/Vecna/Jamie Campbell Bower is my DJ and then run into 500 of my closest friends at the bar. Only at SDCC, can I wander the streets and find my favorite characters (and this year, my ship!!) plastered like giants across all of the buildings!! Only at SDCC does my whole inbox transform into real life all around me! Truly, SDCC magic is like no other! This year, I added panel moderation and participation to the roster and it was so much fun! I was honored to help @webtoonofficial and @darkhorsecomics at the event and to speak on a topic close to my heart, the intersection of fandom and journalism, with @themarysue. I was also lucky enough to attend panels for some of my favorite series and movies!! Among other things, I put the exclamation point on my @amcsannerice coverage as I opened the door on all the @theringsofpower adventures to come! Thanks to the team @nerdist for their incredible work, on and off the ground: @osteoferocious, @lee_travis_ , @geekboyeric, @heyitsmattcaron, @functional_nerd, @house_walsh, and @writertaigooden!!! But, of course, as ALWAYS, the most beautiful part was seeing all my incredible friends, from industry, fandom, and beyond! There was a great camaraderie in the air this year, a felt desire to support one another in complicated times, and I couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of all of it with all of you wonderful people (pictured and not pictured)!!! Can’t wait to do it all again next year!!! 😈🩸🧝‍♂️💍👏
