the end of an era 💫🔜

I am incredibly honored and excited to announce that I have been offered a Company Apprentice position with the Richmond Ballet for the 2026/2027 season! These past two years in Studio Company have been nothing less than wonderful, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experiences I had, the things I’ve learned, the people I’ve met, and the memories I’ve made. I am eagerly looking forward to my seventh year with my Richmond Ballet family!

Tour with these amazing people was everything I could’ve asked for. We danced, we celebrated, we laughed, and we cried. A rewarding, exhausting, and fantastic finale for the end of a fantastic season. I love you all so much and I will cherish all the moments we shared this year. ❤️💚🧡

A look inside rehearsal for ‘Wild Within,’ a new ballet by choreographer Serkan Usta, premiering at our 2026 New Works Festival.

Joyful and expressive, ‘Wild Within’ is all about the power and importance of celebration in our lives. In Serkan’s own words: “We need celebration and it’s very important for our soul. So this piece is actually for you to feel celebrated or to celebrate.”

Don’t miss the premiere of ‘Wild Within,’ alongside never-before-seen works by three other incredible choreographers at Moving Art Three: New Works March 19-29 at VMFA. Tickets are available through the link in our bio.

harvest festival -> the graveyard 🌼🪦

performing in Richmond Ballet’s production of ‘Giselle’ this past weekend was an incredibly fulfilling and memorable experience. having the opportunity to portray the duality of a joyful peasant and a vengeful Wili was such a wonderful challenge. i’m so proud of all of us involved in bringing this beautiful production to life; every special moment spent on stage with these amazing people was an honor, and it was all worth every minute. 🤍

Who are the Wilis? 🌙

In 'Giselle,' the Wilis are the ghostly spirits of young women betrayed before their wedding day. Rising after midnight, they roam the moonlit forest, bound together by heartbreak, power, and an unrelenting sense of justice by forcing any man who crosses their path to dance to their death.

Ethereal, chilling, and mesmerizing, the Wilis bring a special supernatural edge to this Romantic ballet.

Experience the Wilis on stage when 'Giselle' returns to the Dominion Energy Center this Valentine’s Day weekend, performed with live music by the Richmond Symphony. Tickets are available through the link in our bio.
