Two years of From The Shack. Two years of fire, food, good people and some questionable conversations.

Almost exactly two years ago, we started this podcast. Since then, we’ve had some brilliant guests, talked a load of BBQ, gone off on plenty of tangents and, hopefully, entertained a few of you along the way.

But we want to hear from YOU.

Whether you’ve been listening since episode one or you’ve only just stumbled across us, we’d love you to leave us a comment.

👇 Here’s what we want to know:

🔥 What’s your favourite episode or moment from the podcast?
🎙️ Who’s been your favourite guest?
🥩 Have we taught you anything useful, or just made you hungry?
👋 Are you an old listener or a new one?
💬 What would you like to hear more of?
🤔 And who should we get on the podcast next?

Or just tell us what you think. Good, bad, funny, constructive… we’re all ears.

We’re going to read your comments out on a future episode, so get involved. You might even get a mention!

Two years in, and we’re only just getting going.

Thanks to everyone who’s listened, watched, shared an episode or put up with us banging on about BBQ.

Now, over to you. Drop us a comment below. We want to hear from you. 👇

For the person who’s impossible to buy for.

They’ve already got the gadgets. The kitchen is full. And you’ve bought them enough socks to last a lifetime.

So, what do you buy someone who loves good food?

An experience they wouldn’t normally book for themselves.

At Millington Hall Farm, we bring people together around fire, food and a shared love of cooking. From hands-on BBQ masterclasses and live-fire feasts to our unique overnight smoking experiences, there’s something for every food lover.

They could learn a new skill, cook over an open fire, discover incredible ingredients or spend a day doing something completely different.

And the best bit? You’re not just giving them something to unwrap at Christmas. You’re giving them something to look forward to.

Our gift vouchers can be used across our range of classes and experiences, so they can choose the one that gets them excited.

Less stuff. More experiences. Better food.

Give them a taste of Millington Hall Farm this Christmas.

Explore our gift vouchers via the link in our bio.

🌍🧠 Today is World Mental Health Day - a little reminder from us to check in on your mates, have a chat and look out for each other.

🖤💙 At Meat Up Festival, we’re proud to have supported two brilliant organisations doing just that across the industries we love - The Farming Community Network (@fcncharity) and The Burnt Chef Project (@theburntchefproject).

🎟️ A percentage of ticket sales from Meat Up Festival 2026 went towards supporting their work, and we were proud to have them there with us, raising awareness for the brilliant work they do.

🚜👨🏻‍🍳 Whether you’re in farming, hospitality or anywhere in between, there are people who want to listen and organisations there to help if you ever need them.

Big love,
The Meat Up team ❤️

Fancy getting a bit better at BBQ?

We’ve got the books. Proper BBQ books, packed with recipes, techniques, ideas and enough food porn to have you planning your next cook before you’ve finished the current one.

From brisket and burgers to chicken, ribs and everything in between, there’s something here whether you’re just getting started or already spend far too much time thinking about fire and meat.

Sometimes I get invited to cook. Sometimes I show up as the "personality hire." Quick little throwback to @meatopiauk. Hey @genevieveeats, am I doing this right?!

Last nights trip on Tower Belle @bristolpacket was so fun and a trip down memory lane for me. My first job was behind the bar at 14 yrs old! Nick said it didn’t matter that I was under age because the rules are different at sea 🤣🤣🤣 Bristol has always been and always will be a Rebel City.

🎉 A huge £1,750 raised for our Chosen Charity (@fcncharity) and Community Partner (@theburntchefproject) at Meat Up Festival 2026!

✨The amount raised will be split equally between both organisations✨

🫶🏼 Two brilliant organisations supporting the people at the heart of farming and hospitality.

🥳 You came, you ate, you drank, and you helped us do some good along the way, all whilst having a good time.

🖤 Thank you 🖤
