Our studio renter @genevvieve has shared with us some interesting details of her making process.

The final results were stunning 🤩

P.S. we have one private studio space available for rent in this month

✨ 10 days of porcelain, patience, and perspective.

With infinite patience, kindness, and mastery @heesooceramics guided us through the delicate world of porcelain - teaching participants all the details of making, layering, painting, and seeing nature’s depth through clay.

Heesoo has shared not only her techniques but her spirit - reminding us that true beauty takes time, care, and attention to every small detail.

💛 more than a workshop, it was a journey - of learning, laughter, and the timeless beauty of creating together.

What a fabulous 2 week workshop. From day 1 to end & everything in between , we all had such a fantastic experience.

🌿 A week in Ubud, and the studio felt like a living garden. Sunlight poured in the studio, only laughter weaving through the air. Under the gentle yet masterful guidance of our instructor, porcelain became our canvas - hand-built forms, wheel-thrown vessels, watercolor underglazes, and details so fine they could only be made with the most patient hands.

🪷Porcelain stole our hearts. with each brushstroke, each carved line, landscapes bloomed - memories and nature mingling together in delicate depth. Daily demos turned into moments of wonder; underglaze testing into little experiment of joy (with a special thank you to @amacobrent @keaneceramics for their generous support)

🌺 It was the most quiet workshop we ever had - so much focus - the kind that makes the hours slip away unnoticed. By the week’s end, the studio was full - not just of work, but of stories, friendships, and the quiet satisfaction of creating something beautiful together.

A room full of powerful women - and Josh 💚gathered around porcelain and purpose - guided by the gentle mastery of Artist of the house.

With patience as our rhythm and detail as our devotion, we carved and layered, slowly unveiling the depth of nature through every thoughtful gesture. Each piece, a meditation. Each mark, a quiet echo of the landscape within.

It takes time to make something this beautiful - and it’s always worth it.

💫 Expressing Nature’s Depth & Perspective on Clay Surfaces has officially begun 👌

On our first day, Heesoo welcomed ceramists from around the globe into her poetic world of porcelain, where landscapes tell stories and nature becomes memory.

With fresh thrown bases in hand, we stand crafting our canvases - preparing the ground for a two-week journey into layering and delicate washes of underglaze.

The studio is already buzzing with curiosity, quiet focus, and a shared desire to translate feeling through form. We can’t wait to see how each artist’s perspective will take shape in clay.
