4TEEN birthday weekend + first tournament with his new team = THIS. 🥹⚽️🔥 First round of the Texas Labor Day Cup and these One FC Houston boys came to PLAY! ⚽️ Game 1: 4–2 ⚽️ Game 2: 5–1 ONE FC HOUSTON — 2–0! 🔥 The defense was OUTSTANDING, the passing and goalkeeping were on point, and watching all those late-night practices start showing up on the field made this mama PROUD. 💙 But the best part? THE VILLAGE SHOWED UP. 🥹❤️ Godmothers, Papa, Katelyn, Kai, Deborah and Meee. We were all on that sideline cheering him on. His team on the field AND his team on the sideline. ❤️ Last weekend: Houston Dynamo experience. This weekend: Two tournament wins. CJ said he’s celebrating 4TEEN “with a bang” and may just keep it going. 😂 Sir, apparently so! Game 3 tomorrow morning… LET’S GOOOO! ⚽️🔥 #OneFCHouston #TexasLaborDayCup #4Teen #ProudMama #soccermom

Month 8 • August • New Beginnings. Not every journey starts with a passport. Some begin with a pair of cleats and the courage to believe. This August, CJ begins his first season with One FC Houston, co-founded by former Arsenal and England defender Kieran Gibbs and 2018 FIFA World Cup champion Blaise Matuidi. During the first week of training, CJ will have the exciting opportunity to train with Kieran as this new chapter begins. This is only the beginning. 💙⚽️ #OneFCHouston #NewBeginnings #soccer #ProudMom #HoustonSoccer

68,021 people. That’s how many people filled the stadium today. But all I could see was my son. The little boy who started playing soccer at two years old. The one who never stopped chasing a ball. The one who now spends countless hours training, learning, growing, and dreaming. Two years ago, I knew Houston would host the FIFA World Cup. I also knew tickets would be expensive. So I did what I could with what I had and focused on getting CJ as close to the experience as possible. What I didn’t know was how the rest of the story would unfold. Today, thanks to my dad, CJ experienced something bigger than a soccer match. He got to witness what is possible. As I watched him stand there looking out at that field, I couldn’t help but wonder what was going through his mind. Maybe he was just enjoying the moment. Or maybe he was imagining himself out there one day. Either way, dreams have a funny way of growing when you’re standing close enough to see them. And for that, I’ll be forever grateful. ❤️⚽✨ #FIFAWorldCup2026 #proudmom #soccer #fifa

Sometimes God answers prayers through people who never even knew they were part of it. 🥹⚽️✨ Three generations. One unforgettable moment. And a full-circle blessing I prayed about two years ago. 🌎 #FIFAWorldCup2026 #BreaeBeyondBorders #SoccerMom #FamilyLegacy #houston
