POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I was commissioned to do the artwork for the Single release of the song "REEL LIVING" by @geo_tyner this past year. Along with that, I told em I would do a portrait drawing of George as soon as I had a minute. Well the Festival season just ended and I was finally able to finish this guy. I hope it helps in some way going forward with this young fellas musical career.

Though I’d never interviewed youth musicians before, the undeniable truth is they are the future of music. After connecting with some incredibly impressive young talent, I became genuinely excited about sharing such discoveries as they come my way within a new zine section titled “Batlings.” 🦇 The rise of the Knights of Molino feels like the kind of story punk rock was always meant to tell. Long before most teenagers are even certain of who they are, Erik Birmingham, Rowan Campbell, and Tommy Birmingham are already carving their own path through the Bay Area underground with explosive live performances, original songwriting, and a fearless love for the raw spirit of classic punk. What for many would have been a dream childhood of loud amplifiers, sweaty club stages, and rebellious records has become reality for these young musicians, who continue balancing school life while building a reputation across venues throughout Northern California. Give @KnightsOfMolino a follow, listen, and download at KnightsOfMolino.bandcamp.com. #KnightsOfMolino #postpunk. 🦇 What began as a last-minute search for anything to do on a rare night off turned into one of those moments that reminds you exactly why live music still matters. A promo caught my eye about a five-piece band of 13-year-olds called “Period 8” at a local-to-me restaurant bar. With Owen currently honing his skills as a young drummer at “Bach 2 Rock” (@b2rherndon), I figured this could be the perfect chance for him to witness what dedication looks like on a real stage. While every member of Period 8 brought undeniable talent, drummer AJ Porter quickly commanded attention. At first, I chalked it up to my own bias watching through a drummer’s lens. That’s when AJ launched into a nearly five-minute drum solo that didn’t just impress, it shook the room! Give @Period__8 a follow and listen. #Period8. 🦇 Catch my full interviews within zine issue “13: Tridecaphobia”. Remember that hearing positive feedback means absolutely everything ESPECIALLY to young aspiring artists—so let’s please hear from YOU! 🦇🖤 #Nocturnazine #musicmagazine

We did it! 👊

We had the incredible opportunity to play at the legendary @thebitterendnyc in New York City, and wow... what an experience.

A few things we’ll never forget:
1. The acoustics were unreal and sound quality was 🔥.
2. The history of this place is something you can feel the moment you walk in. So many musical legends have stood on this stage.
3. Seeing Billy Joel’s piano sitting there was one of those surreal moments.

We’re beyond grateful to @teenstockflorida @p.v.master for connecting us to other super talented artists we met yesterday.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us. On to the next one!
