When you fly to Baltimore for a catfish eating contest, and then one minute into the contest you remember that the taste of fish makes you gag. 😬🤢😂 The only win for me yesterday was not having to leave the stage before time was up. 🙃

Always grateful for the experience, and the camaraderie. 🙌

(But I can never do this contest again unless I have tartar sauce and an abundance of Diet Coke. 😂)

🌭 SWIPE to meet the pros — Hudson Yards Weigh-In Edition
I thought I could eat… until I met the real monsters. 😳

🎤 Interview lineup:
1️⃣ Joey Chestnut — “I think I can still do 70+.”
I told him I watched him as a kid battling Takeru Kobayashi. He laughed:
💬 “You’re still a kid.” 🙌

2️⃣ Gregory Shea — shared Joey’s latest eating strategies and prep for July 4th.

3️⃣ Ricardo Corbucci — competitive eating star all the way from Brazil 🇧🇷

4️⃣ Jerome Burns — just passed his qualifier and entering his first major showdown!

—

💭 What’s your prediction — can Joey hit 75+ and set a new record?

Congratulations to the legend @george.chiger on qualifying for this year’s Nathan’s hotdog eating competition. Eating just over 26 hotdogs in 10min to earn a spot, yet again, on the big stage at Coney Island.
