Save Digbeth? They heard us loud and clear 📣

Sunday was my birthday, and this one was different. In the middle of the mixer with my daughter! Playing the iconic @club.colette, surrounded by hundreds of people who really cared. That was special.

Artists showing up after a relentless summer. Venue owners standing together. A happy birthday and a cake 🥹

@saveoursceneuk , @george.sos @alexglyde and the whole team—you smashed it.

But the fight isn’t won yet. We need to keep pushing to protect these spaces that bring us together, that no other spaces can.

Have YOU emailed your MP or Mayor? 💛

I had a best day of my life to watch and finally met the drum and bass legends, Chase and Status at Unlocked in Shoreditch
@chaseandstatus @unlocked.shoreditch @unlocked.electronic

Thank you, George of @saveoursceneuk for helping me out.

Those tunes are absolutely killing it and I really love their tune from the game, 007 First Light is Run Dat.

I'm happy to see their special guests as well!

$Birmingham! Comment ‘SOS’ and we’ll DM you a link to email the Mayor. You just need to fill in your details and a pre-written email will be sent to the mayor calling for; 1️⃣ A re-examination of all possible ways to deliver these works, especially the East Chord. It is clear MRHA were totally unaware of the cultural and economic value of these venues and businesses. 2️⃣ A guaranteed seat at the table for affected businesses through every stage of this process. 3️⃣ Clarity on timelines, because businesses are already reporting significant stress and uncertainty. Thank you everyone who came out in support yesterday as well as all the artists, venues and staff for their help too. Let’s not forget that yesterday represented just a tiny fraction of those who would be affected if these plans go ahead without amendments. Long live Digbeth! @playkissuk @skiddleuk$
