Every Athlete Day this year has been nothing short of amazing. 7/13 👀

Every single has been such a high, and I think that comes down to what this concept was always meant to be.

When I created Athlete Days, it was never just about creating a competition. It was about building an environment. A place where people could test themselves, experience pressure, learn from the outcome, and be surrounded by others who want to improve.

I’ve always believed you earn a standard, the right to reach a certain potential. Nothing is given, it’s built.

I’ve never been a believer ‘everyone’s a winner’. Not because showing up isn’t a win but because competition teaches lessons that you can’t replicate anywhere else:

🚀 humility.
You might be the fastest person in one room, but there is always a higher standard around the corner.
🚀 how to lose.
Not every day will go your way. Learning to handle that and come back better is part of becoming a better athlete.
🚀 shows you what’s possible.
A lot of people don’t know what they’re capable of until they’re put in an environment that demands more from them. It gives people a benchmark, a target to chase
🚀 progression.
I’ve had athletes move from beginner heats into advanced heats over just a few months because they used each event as feedback and a reason to improve.

I grew up in elite sport, and competing has always been my ENTIRE life. I don’t get nervous before races. I thrive off the pressure because I’ve been exposed to those standards, those environments, and those race simulations since I was 8.That’s exactly what I wanted to create for Abrasive.

At the start of the year, my goal was 12 successful Athlete Days in 12 months. Different themes, concepts, reasons to keep people coming back.

Bringing in outside athletes to compete against my own athletes, having judges, creating an atmosphere where people can test themselves.

The biggest reward has been seeing my online athletes travel from all over the country to compete, meet each other, and become part of something bigger than just coaching.

To everyone who has competed, judged, supported, or been involved. thank you.

We’re building something special 🤍
