A day rooted in land, food, memory, and each other.

We gathered at @yaramuj ‘s home in Baabdat for a retreat around jouzour, roots, and what it means to stay connected to land, knowledge and to the practices that sustain us.

We moved through yoga with @yaramuj and @rayasfeir, learned about permaculture and agroecology with @undercover_mulus and @yarroward , and made seed bombs together that is are small acts of planting and carrying something forward, especially in places where spaces are disappearing due to ongoing occupation and agression.

Deep gratitude to @akkarifruitinbeirut’s loving hand that turn local ingredients into beautiful food, made with so much care, creativity, and awareness. A meal that felt like another form of gathering, sharing, and remembering.

Thank you to everyone who came, shared, taught, cooked, planted, listened, and made the day what it was. And to Yara, Milou, and Alya for holding it all with so much generosity.

Co-coon. From “كون” which means being, universe. A reminder that we are vast, and interconnected.
This retreat was an invitation to slow down and return to the simplicity of being.
Not doing, not fixing; just showing up, together.
We rested, created, surrendered, and let ourselves be held by the group.
To co-coon is to remember that being is not solitary.
It’s something we experience in relation, and care.
In this small, cozy gathering of friends and family, we felt how powerful that can be.
A quiet reminder of the universe within us, and between us.

🌱 Moments from Co-Coon.
An intimate retreat shaped by closeness.
We gathered as friends and family, cocooning ourselves in presence and care. There was softness, laughter, creativity, and rest; the kind that comes from feeling at home with one another.
Deep gratitude to @violette.shaktiyoga for guiding us with so much gentleness and softness,
to @sama.beirut for bringing color, creativity, and play into the space, to @skandarnou for the grounding massage workshop, and to Danielle for the beautiful Lebanese food that nourished us and made us feel deeply held.
Thank you to everyone who shared this space.
These small, tender moments are everything.
