👁👃👄👅The steps to hedonistic heaven at @oeno_official with the @zyme_winery tasting. I haven’t really shared enough about this tasting yet. A few things to note before there is a proper blog post about it. 1) I have visited Zymē and met Celestino Gaspari in person. It was very special and the wines have my heart, to go to a tasting and be reminded of this feeling was powerful. 2) I was very proud of myself for eating a whole liver, I’m usually a bit squeamish about offal but it just goes to show, when things are cooked to perfection they’re always delicious, well done head of pairing @macellaiorc 3) A captivating speaker such as @the.wine.hunter makes all the difference too 👏 @oeno_official is set up for the winter months, it looks very cosy, I can’t wait to get back there! #italianwine #valpolicella #corvina #londonwine #winetasting #winepairing #wineblog

There is a debate in Jura on whether Melon-Queue-Rouge is it’s own grape variety or in fact just chardonnay with red stalks. I know.. it keeps me up at night too. 😂. The 2017 Domaine Desire Petit Arbois Melon A Queue Rouge was a perfect match for my rotisserie chickens stuffed with rosemary and butter. The wine has a creamy texture of peach custard, apple, orange with a bit of lime on the finish. This wine doesn’t have the funk that most Jura wines have - it’s just a delicious Chardonnay… errr Melon-Queue-Rouge. -DD92

📍 France, AOP Côtes du Rhône village Laudun
👁 White wine with a very pale color!
👃🏼 On the nose it's a mix of flowers 💐and fruits. We find pear 🍐 with a little jasmine 🌿 and a touch of peach 🍑 . You can also find a bit of banana 🍌
👄 On the palate it's light 🌬 but with a fatty side that brings roundness ⭕️ and a slightly salty finish 🐚
🌿 The wine is a blend of #clairette #grenache and #roussanne

How do you say in French, Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, very very aromatic, lots of guava on the nose, along with citrus, medium body, 12.5% and delicious, for those who like?

La Chateau, 2020.

I'm of course kidding, this is a nice wine, basic, right next to Sancerre, but with VFM.

Incredible weekend at @thegamefair last weekend. Met so many lovely people including our old friends, as we cooked up some lovely venison asado for @fieldsportsjournal

On our firepits we had delicious fallow deer haunches & loins and whole roe & muntjac carcasses that we put up on our iron crosses, and basted with some vinegar, oil and salt.

As our venison supplies were running low we hooked up with our friends over at @deerbox.co.uk to top us up. Great quality venison too!

A charming Pinot Noir.

Old vines, over 35 years old, leaves a particularly impressive and aromatic impression.

Deep and bright red color, pleasant fruity aroma, earthy freshness, or as a wine friend said, the smell of a vegetable store, fresh, fresh.

Medium body, 13%, medium acidity, good tannins and medium finish.

A good wine to drink right now, but it might be worth waiting another 3-5 years for its potential to be realized.

Goes with anything, with a heavy beef bourguignon, or a tray of mature cheeses, or as I like, like that, with nothing, just me and the wine.

Hello everyone! And yes another Chardonnay on my radar… I got so excited that I had a sip before even thinking..”damn a pic is needed 😂!”

I haven’t thought about Chardonnay from Argentina and it just got me intrigued.. what will I get? Would it be too fruity?

This wine..Has a nice tangerine and peach notes with a slight pineapple twang similar to Australian but not heavy as such! Little creamy and slight oak that isn’t overwhelming! Crisp and easy to drink! Just goes well with A good risotto 👌🏻

Anyone tried wines from Argentina but not the regular Malbec etc?!

As well, easy to find gem from Morrison’s again yep that supermarket getting blasted from me! (This isn’t a boost ad i promise! 😂 just thought you would want to know where to find it! #honesty❤️)
