Interview Series - uncovering the thoughts behind the breaker.

Many of us break as we feel a connection the art, a sort of “calling” if you will. Each of us has our own personal reason, and Gery’s was “escape”.

However, what started as somewhat of a negative intent of running away, Breakin’ gave him an outlet, a home and a place to belong. Over time, his outlook towards Breakin’ grew into that of love.

He’s now giving it his 100%, clawing his way up to the top. It’s inspiring to see his obsession for his craft, technicalities and for the culture / knowledge. If you cross paths with him, you can see and feel how much love he has for Breakin’.

Shoutouts to Glaive for taking the courage to share his story, which was very personal. May his honesty, realness and come up through Breakin’ inspire you to grow and trust the process.
