Helena Christensen brought a distinctive presence to Karl Lagerfeld’s Autumn/Winter 1991/92 runway — confident, effortless and unmistakably of the era.

At the beginning of the 1990s, Helena was quickly establishing herself among fashion’s most recognisable new faces. Her striking beauty and natural ease in front of the camera translated effortlessly to the runway, giving her an individuality that made her stand out in a generation of emerging supermodels.

This appearance captures Helena at an important point in her early career, as she became an increasingly familiar presence on the international fashion circuit and part of the defining visual language of 1990s fashion.
