“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard”, - Winnie the Pooh

Still trying to put my thoughts together. I’m excited for this new chapter of my life, but at the same time, it’s hard to truly accept that I won’t be coming back to UCO as a tennis player anymore.

These four years were made up of so many little moments that somehow became some of the biggest parts of my life — sprints on the court, cone drills, fig bars before practice, fruit punch BodyArmor, Starbucks runs, Menchie’s after long days, bus rides, team talks, laughter, stress, wins, losses, and memories I know I’ll carry forever. As exhausting as some days felt, I wouldn’t trade a single second of it for anything.

I remember being asked once what I would buy if I had an unlimited credit card, and my answer was simple: a time machine, just so I could relive these four years all over again. Looking back now, I realize how rare and special this time really was. At UCO, I got to live a life full of purpose, passion, friendship, growth, and experiences that shaped me into the person I am today.

I will forever be grateful to my teammates, coaches, athletics department, parents, and friends for being part of this journey and for making Edmond feel like home. Thank you for every memory, every lesson, every conversation, every hug, every high five, and every moment that made these years unforgettable.

UCO will always be a part of my story, no matter where life takes me next. 💙
