Pride wouldn’t have happened again this year without the incredible @sahirhouse who worked tirelessly alongside the @mandsbankarena to create a fantastic event!

I am incredibly proud to be trustee @sahirhouse as of this year and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Liverpool and Liverpool pride!

Post pride there is a lot of work to be done within and outside the community and I can’t wait to get started!

Not to discredit anyone else, but honourable shoutout to @christopherson27 who deserves an award for the work he put into pride, a beautiful man and a complete, pride in Liverpool will never be without you!

Roll on 2027!

LIVERPOOL IS PRIDE
I have no words to describe the sense of community, love, safety, and energising inspiration I felt after this year‘s Pride. So I drew it… Art by @queerartisan
This is only a snapshot of the people I saw, admired, and wanted to say thank you to. There are countless others that made this possible, moved me to tears with their singing, made us feel held. I‘m glad that there are too many people in this city I call home to draw, instead represented by the sea of flags.
Thank you!

Out with the @liverpoolurbansketchers yesterday. Always a friendly welcome.

We met in @92degreesuk at the top of Hardman Street. Lovely place and terrific coffee. Apparently been doing their thing for 10 years now, after starting with one cafe and their own roastery.

Then over the road to the Philharmonic... see next post.

A huge thank you to all our Santa Dashers who ran on World AIDS Day.

As of writing this post, they have raised a collective £3,422 (+ £369.50 in Gift Aid!)

This is incredible! We will be keeping our fundraiser open for another week before closing - if you can, please donate and support Liverpool's oldest LGBTQ+ & HIV charity.
