Memories of Labor Day Friday last week when we had the @baugruppe90 & @coffintexts & @traxunit and @newty____ taking us for a hardgroove & techno journey that essentially started 20 years ago. We appreciate everyone who continues to choose our dancefloor and believes in our curation of dance music thats not based on hype, but rather taste.

Media : @subjekmedia

We are announcing a few events in the next few days, including an all vinyl Halloween techno rave on Saturday October 31. Please follow our socials at @iluvincognito and get your tix when it becomes available at link in bio or at @resident_advisor.

TONIGHT Saturday September 5, INCOGNITO celebrates Twenty Years headlined by two DnB Legends, @ronisizebristol & @dieselboy plus the talented @w__h__y__s

The UK’s Roni Size is one of the pioneers of drum & bass, with performances at Coachella, Glastonbury, Creamfields, and countless festivals worldwide. He composed music for Blade, has collaborated with Wu-Tang Clan and Rage Against the Machine, and has helped shape the genre through multiple labels he founded over the years. Meanwhile, Dieselboy, aka The Destroyer, is an American DnB icon, founder of Human Imprint, the first drum & bass artist to chart on Billboard’s Dance Chart, and has been featured on MTV, ESPN, and numerous video games while representing DC Shoes and Pioneer DJ. Opening Saturday is Dislabel founder WHYS.

Twenty years. One community. Countless memories. Let’s celebrate together.

This was our interview with the printed edition of DJ Mag UK around 2017ish by M. Tullberg when we were still the biggest warehouse rave in Los Angeles.

INCOGNITO has always stood for pushing the musical envelope of dance music forward since 2006. Since the pandemic, new promoters have come in and others meanwhile have focused on what is social media famous and hyped up, while we still trudged our lonely egotistic path of booking DJs who we like musically, and nothing else.

One day, we will be pushed out, and whether it be people we have helped along the way, or others who have no idea who we are and what we’ve helped do for the LA underground. Until that time comes, we will trudge along, but more like the little train that could.

Come celebrate join us for our 20th Bday this Labor Day weekend:

Sep 4 - Twenty Year Hard Groove Techno Anniversary with BAUGRUPPE90, COFFINTEXTS, TRAX UNIT & Newty

Sep 5 - Twenty Year DnB Anniversary with RONI SIZE & DIESELBOY & WHYS

Thank you to everyone who joined the INCOGNITO warehouse last week and danced with us for @paoloferrara_official LA debut. Such an epic set along with special support by resident @eliseember and the talented @kristyle_techno! That was hard and mental!
