They gave so much thought and care to A CURSE CARVED IN INK, from Zhenya’s monolids to the book she held (described as having a lock with no opening... it was a lot easier to describe in words than paint LOL but Jade managed it 🫶), to the shape of Kaijun’s nose and Yaori’s sapphic fingernails (thank you Gabby 😂)

I’ve never tried adding up all the hours spent on every draft of my debut according to Microsoft Word, but I wouldn’t be shocked if I’d racked up well over 10,000 hours 😬 So I know firsthand that art (in all its forms) is a labour of love, so I'm grateful to everyone who's laboured over mine--artists, editors, designers, readers… Thank you!

I got to ARC read this one last year as part of @mojodojobookclub and I KNEW this book was going to take off. I knew it was going to be a hit. And watching everyone fall in love with it since has been the BEST!!!

And now somehow I get to call this special edition my own?! 🥹 I genuinely feel so lucky. This is easily in my TOP 3 favorite special editions I own, and every single detail is absolutely stunning. The cherry on top?? The cover was done by my absolute favvvvv @ekilateral.art 🤩
