Here at the Metropolitan Arts Council, we are gearing up for Greenville Open Studios 2026 and want to help you discover the wonderful artists in our community who are hard at work preparing to welcome you into their studios in just a few weeks.

The artists featured in this carousel are printmakers, but many also work across other media, offering a range of work and perspectives to discover.

--- RECEPTION: Catherine Labbé: Where My Mind Wanders: New Paintings and Collage.

Wilkinson ART Gallery

Saturday July 18, 2026, from 7 until 9 pm.

The exhibition runs through August 15, 2026, and is free to the public.

This work looks at ecosystems surrounding us, especially inspired by visits to western states.

Beetles, plant forms, and natural patterns are registered in our minds as richly layered compositions in paintings and collage, from small works to mid-size and larger acrylics on panel and canvas.

What attracts me to Catherine's work is her ability to translate natural forms into a visual scape that's full of texture, detail and energy. These paintings claim your attention.

If you've followed Catherine's work over the years, this will be an essential catch-up and refresher with Catherine, and your best chance to see her most recent work.

Wilkinson ART Gallery is located at 39 Blair Street, Greenville SC 29607, in a downtown residential area of Greenville, near Cleveland Park. Convenient curbside parking with no parking fees.

Regular Hours: Tuesday-Friday 1:00-6:00 PM, Saturdays 1:00-4:00 PM. Closed Sundays and Mondays.

$ArtFields 2026 ✨ I captured just a tiny fraction of the incredible art and energy from closing weekend—but wow, what an experience. Feeling honored to have my work selected and shown alongside so many talented artists and creative voices from across the South. Huge thanks to @artfieldssc and the downtown Lake City, SC businesses for creating such a meaningful platform for artists to be seen and celebrated. So inspired by the strength of work coming out of the Charlotte region this year 👏 It was such a joy to meet new artists, reconnect with familiar faces, and be surrounded by so much creativity. Congratulations to all of the competition artists and to the award winners! 🎉 #ArtFields2026 #SouthernArt #CharlotteArtists #ArtFestival #CreativeCommunity$
