Proof isn't always something you can see.
Sometimes, it's how effortlessly everything comes together.

We chose not to see each other before the ceremony, but we couldn’t imagine walking into forever without first holding hands and praying together. 🤍

Halfway through 2026 and I still can’t quite believe what @wildknightevents has accomplished so far. Five weddings in six months with more beautiful celebrations still to come this year, and an incredible lineup already waiting for us in 2027.

What makes me the proudest isn’t the number, it’s that no two weddings look anything alike. Every celebration has been a reflection of the couple behind it, their personalities, their story, and their vision. If there’s one thing I hope becomes the signature of Wild Knight Events, it’s that our weddings never feel like they came from a template. A little whimsical, a little unexpected, deeply intentional, and always unmistakably as unique as our couples.

It’s surreal to think that just last year I was styling shoots in our living room, hoping someone would trust us with their wedding day. Looking back, I realize every chapter of my life was quietly preparing me for this one.

I think about 18-year-old Laura working tirelessly to earn a scholarship and move to New York to pursue a career in marketing. Then 28-year-old Laura, whose corporate career unexpectedly came to an end during the pandemic, forcing her to return to the Dominican Republic and reinvent herself by turning a dream into a hospitality business. The years in marketing, my love for design, my obsession with hospitality, and my creative spirit somehow all converged into the career I didn’t even know I was building.

And while it may seem like this journey has happened overnight, it has really been years in the making. None of it would have been possible without countless hours of hard work, the incredible couples who believed in us, and my family. Oh yes! My biggest supporters who never stopped believing in this dream, especially during the moments when I struggled to believe in it myself. My mother @pperezlora who is better at promoting my services than I ever will be, my father @moiseslorac for teaching me to never give up, my brother @moiseslorac for joining the team, and of course my husband @alexknightstudio who is my inspiration and the reason why I’m even here to begin with. I love you all so much!
