COPENHAGEN, WE’RE BACK.

Some cities become part of a project’s story.

For Perceptions, Copenhagen is one of them.

In 2022, we arrived in Denmark with The Last Summer Festival: 14 hours of Progressive House, 500 people, and a night that marked a new chapter for Perceptions.

In 2023, we returned to Culture Box for our first Perceptions Showcase, with the Perceptions residents taking over Red Box for the entire night.

In 2025, we came back to Culture Box once again, this time taking our showcase to Black Box, with Nick Varon at the helm.

And now, in 2026, the story continues.

17 October. @cultureboxdk . Copenhagen.

@tim_andresen will open the night.
@kevindiserna will take it forward.
@albanobastonero will close the showcase.

Four years after that first Copenhagen chapter, we’re returning to the place where part of the Perceptions story was written.

See you in Copenhagen. 🖤

This young chap had no idea what he was getting himself into. He loved music. Started to buy vinyls and then making sure that everyone around him heard them too.

And this Saturday, it’s 40 years since Teenager Tim first started carrying heavy DJ gear around, setting up at small private parties in the northern suburbs of Copenhagen.

Four decades of clubs, festivals, parties, dancefloors, long nights, and questionable hairstyles before I gave up and had the head shaved. And here we are.

I would love to see you at Culture Box this Saturday to celebrate 40 years of DJing.

I’ll be joined by lots of fantastic DJ friends, and we’re opening the doors at 8pm.

An early start. Just like we did in the 80s ❤️

Get ready for Saturday and “4 Decades of Tim Andresen”.

Forty years ago, a young man took his first steps behind a pair of Technics 1210s. What began as a humble yet dedicated passion for music grew into a lifelong journey spanning clubs, festivals, and some of the most mythic dance floors around the world.

To mark this milestone, we’re extending our opening hours as Tim plays a special extended set in the club he proudly calls home. Joining him throughout the night will be a group of talented friends and fellow DJs including Federico Monachesi from Argentina, NILU, Gerssein, Eusherr, Rexie Lex, Larsh, Shansen and Thor Calin.

This celebration isn’t just about one person, it’s also about everyone who has been part of the journey and the friendships and community that have grown around it. The night is an invitation to all the friends, followers, fellow DJs, promoters, club owners, dancers, music lovers, and everyone who has shared the journey over the past four decades. Whether you’ve been there since the early days or discovered Tim’s music more recently, your presence is what will make this celebration truly special.

We hope you will all join us for this very special What Happens night. Doors open at 8pm. See you there.
