Hay imágenes en las que cuanto más miras, más cosas encuentras. Eso es precisamente lo que me flipa de este clip: las capas. Al fondo, el surfista completamente metido en la lavadora. Después aparece @gesaquatic haciendo un pato. Y finalmente, las burbujas en primer plano creando una textura que me tiene enamorado. Tres momentos ocurriendo a la vez, cada uno a una profundidad diferente, pero formando una sola imagen. De eso también va aprender fotografía: no solo mirar lo que tienes delante, sino aprender a ver todo lo que está pasando dentro del encuadre. Before taking this image, I spent time watching how this manta was moving. Its direction, its rhythm, the distance it kept, and the way it reacted to our presence. Once I understood its trajectory, I positioned myself below with enough distance to avoid interfering with its movement. From there, the light did the rest. The surface became a soft backlight, revealing only the shape of the animal moving above me. . . #ocean #wildlife #photography #travel #summer

It’s been a week and I’m still not over it 🤯 Ever since @tmh.academy was launched, I’ve been following it closely. When it finally came time to join a workshop, I was lucky enough to have someone who knows me better than anyone else gift me the experience 🏄‍♀️ It’s hard to put into words what the brothers @thefrogeye @javipostigo @josepostigo managed to share in just 2 days and what it means to truly become part of the ocean. Watching them in the water is honestly mind-blowing. They don’t just swim well, they are like fish. The way they make decisions under pressure, the confidence they bring to the water, and somehow the calm they pass on to everyone around them. Beyond being incredible water-native creatives, they’re genuinely empathetic, humble and generous people🫵🏼 Gotta give it to the people that made this with me but also came home with an even deeper respect for the ocean… and after years of seeing this kind of footage on my feed, finally get to have some of it on my own grid 🌊

Some trips don’t just take you somewhere new, they change something inside you. Maldives left me with more than memories.
