It’s with a heavy heart that I share that @get_fr33 and I had to say goodbye to our little Dozer aka Frodo today. From our first day together (way back in my college day, as seen in the last pics here) all the way until our final days together, you have been the most loyal and faithful and warmest companion I could have asked for. I’m so glad that Alexa and I got to take you and your brother to so many amazing places and have so many incredible experiences together, and we will carry them in our hearts and memories forever, but we will forever miss your presence here. I hope you and Iggy Stardust are running through the cosmic fields together and wrestling for treats, and I will see you two on the other side and in all of the beautiful things in our lives. It’s honestly been the hardest year of my life losing your brother and watching you decline as well. Nothing like having you two as my best friends. Thank you for showing me I’m good enough as I am and for everything you have brought us. Love you so much dude and thank you for these past ~14.5 years. ❤️✨🌈

A reminder that you can thrift or secondhand shop designer and that you don’t need a lot of money to have good taste. ❤️‍🔥 Most of this is secondhand, thrifted, and/or been in my closet for years.

A few days of a bestie moon with @get_fr33 is exactly what the Dr ordered. ☀️ We ate and walked our way through Austin TX and loved every second. Big thank you to my wonderful hubby for holding down the fort back at home. ❤️

With the heaviest of hearts, unfortunately, @get_fr33 and I lost my best friend last night. I can’t even begin to put into words how much that chubby ball of fur has meant to me since he entered our lives 13 or so years ago. I wanted to rescue a puggle for Alexa as a surprise, and when I went to meet Iggy, I knew without a doubt that this dog was special, that our bond was special. Extremely timid (expected after being left chained to a tree in a park in Baltimore), this dog came right up to me and gave me his signature puggle breathing and energy that made my heart instantly melt for him. I was told after that visit that he was being adopted by someone else and wouldn’t to me because I was living in a row home in Baltimore with no yard. This broke my heart, and I couldn’t get him out my head. A few weeks later, I look back on the adoption site and see he is still there. I called my mom and made her adopt him for me and advocated that he was without a doubt the one. And man was I right. This dog has been my absolutely best friend and most loyal companion since that day. All of the little bites of fruit (especially mango and bananas), your naps, snorts, excited energy for food and ability to just bring so much comfort and love in our lives will surely be missed. A stroke survivor, 2 types of cancer survivor…you were the toughest dog living out your 15 years of life and I’m so glad we got to celebrate our birthdays together last week and make you a puppy carrot cake. I’ll never forget you dude. Thanks for the love, companionship, selflessness and everything your brought to our lives. I’m going to miss the shit out of you dude. Until we see each other again on the Moon, I love you forever and ever my little buggy. ✨❤️
