What is Rooted Raleigh?

Rooted Raleigh was created from lived experience, healing, and the belief that wellness should be accessible, honest, and community-driven.

After losing 80 pounds, my journey with Get Active with Chi focused heavily on fitness and physical change. But what I’ve learned along the way is this: mental health and physical health are deeply connected ,you can’t truly have one without the other.

Rooted Raleigh exists to support people in their mental health and fitness journeys, bring awareness, create safe spaces, and show up for our community right here in Raleigh. Through movement, conversations, events, and shared experiences, we want to help people feel seen, supported, and empowered.

We’re not here to be perfect. We’re here to be present.
Because little change leads to big change.

Trail Talks is happening! 🌿

Join us for our very first Rooted Meetup at Lake Johnson on Sunday, July 6th at 3 p.m. We’ll be meeting at 4601 Avent Ferry Road to walk the trail, have some real conversations, and enjoy the beauty of the lake together.

This is the perfect chance to get outside, move your body, and meet new people who care about wellness, community, and being rooted in something deeper.

Come as you are. Bring a friend. Let’s talk, walk, and vibe by the water. 💬👣
