Last week Tulip’s welcomed six new kittens into the rescue…all boys! We were able to split everyone up in pairs, between three different foster homes.

These two tabby boys went to our foster @getad0g, thank you so much Jamie for taking them in! What should we name them?

Want to help our newest kittens? We need @fancyfeastcatfood wet kitten food! You can send this via our Amazon wishlist (linked in bio) or drop off donations to our vet partner, @thepetmechanicfishtown, during open business hours.

Thank you to all my friends who donated and bought @advantagebrands flea/tick preventative for the colony cats! I was able to crowd source enough for the year ❤️

@notmarybeth and I went yesterday for the first monthly application and we were able to get 5 out of 7 cats, which I consider a success!! I’m hoping to get one more today….I’m taking the loss of the last one since he never comes close.

I couldn’t be luckier to have the support I have.

Everyone is asking how the colony is doing with the cold / how they will do with the storm…and we’re doing our best 🤷‍♀️

We’ve restocked the straw in their shelters (seven total), made sure their dishes are pushed under the truck to hopefully stay out of the rain/snow, and I put out extra dry food today. I also duct taped over the roof of the two cloth shelters, to hopefully provide another barrier from the weather.

Someone goes to the colony every single day to feed them and check on everyone. Unfortunately, we’re really limited outside of that as far as help we can provide. They are lucky to be in a secure yard, safer than so many cats in Philly, and a community of supporters that provide their food and supplies.

Think warm thoughts for our colony cat friends, and feeders, the next few days!! We definitely need it.
