🌎 “Those of us who wish for us to be important, should do something important.” — Carl Sagan His words capture something at the heart of Flavors of America: we can find purpose by contributing to the lives of others. For us, that starts with an iPhone, a conversation and someone whose story deserves to be heard. A restaurant owner who put everything into a dream. A chef preserving the flavors of home. A family keeping a neighborhood business alive. During COVID, we began telling those stories for free—to help people facing extraordinary challenges. Nearly 2,000 stories later, that mission continues. 🍽️ Every profile is an opportunity to help someone discover a business, understand the people behind it and find a reason to walk through the door. Through restaurant weeks and community collaborations, we bring people together and turn that attention into support for our neighbors. Sagan spoke about building a world without hunger, with greater equality and opportunities that benefit everyone. Our contribution begins close to home, with the people who feed our communities. ❤️ Tell someone’s story. Support their work. Give people a reason to care. That’s Flavors of America. #FlavorsOfAmerica #CarlSagan #SupportLocalRestaurants #CommunityToCommerce #StoriesThatMatter

🍽️ Behind every restaurant: a story, a family, a dream—and someone who took a chance. 🎥 Flavors of America tells those stories. For free. Founded during COVID by Emmy Award–winning producer Alan Goldsher, we began with an iPhone and a mission to help neighborhood businesses. Nearly 2,000 stories later, we’re still giving people reasons to care, visit and come back. 📺 On social media, The Roku Channel & Fawesome. 🤝 With community partners, turning stories into restaurant weeks, neighborhood celebrations and local connections. For sponsors, tourism organizations and media partners, we bring the stories, relationships and experience to build something together. 🚀 Let’s bring more people through local businesses’ doors. ❤️ Where owners’ stories build businesses. Content + Community = Commerce. #FlavorsOfAmerica #FlavorsOfNY #RestaurantStories #SupportLocal #SmallBusiness FoodAndCommunity CommunityToCommerce
