BENTLEY’S 8TH BIRTHDAY PAWTY RECAP! 🎉👑🐾

What an amazing day! Our birthday boy Bentley chose his favorite — dinner at his favorite dog-friendly spot The Crack Shack in Encinitas, then came home for cake + presents!

From wearing his “It’s My Birthday!” badge with pride, to rocking his party hat, to devouring fried chicken (inside meat only) like a king, to finally blowing out his 8 candle and digging into his sprinkle cake — this Shih Tzu knows how to CELEBRATE. 🎂✨

We are SO overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Bentley’s wonderful family of followers for all the birthday blessings, messages, comments, and love. You made his day extra special. We appreciate you more than you know! We read every single greeting together. ❤️

8 years of pure love, wags, and joy. Here’s to many more, baby boy! We love you Bentley! 🐶💙

Have you ever taken your pup to Crack Shack? Let us know below!

🍗 THE BATTLE FOR AMAZING CHICKEN IS ON. 🔥

If you’re searching for the best chicken in Costa Mesa, The Crack Shack deserves a spot on your list. From the incredible staff to the fun, welcoming atmosphere, this is the kind of spot where the food AND the experience deliver.

🔥 Little Pecker Combo — 3 fire-tossed tenders, 4 biscuits, hand-cut fries, honey chive butter + a fountain drink. Crispy, juicy, and seriously satisfying.

🍗 Chicken Oysters — buttermilk-pickle brine, mustard seed tartar + lemon. A must-try if you want something a little different.

🌯 And don’t sleep on the limited-time chicken wrap — the kind of special that makes you want to come back before it’s gone.

Great chicken. Great people. Great environment. Costa Mesa has a new contender in the chicken battle. 🐔🔥

Best thing about any trip, is the food! And you best believe that even though I didn't take pictures of them, I had a very good daily gelato from Eat Italy at the Park MGM hotel. Everything was so good!

@getcrackshacked has a SoCal-only-special for a limited time! It’s their take on French Onion Soup in chicken sandwich form. Say less! 🐔
.
I love French onion soup. I love Gruyère. I love a good chicken sandwich, and this was so good! It was my day off, so it was nice to enjoy the day and dine in. Thankfully the heat had broke and it was perfect lunch weather with the breeze from the bay. ☀️
.
I’ve always been a fan of @getcrackshacked. Their fries and sauce bar are legit, so is the Firebird sandwich, but I remember their Matzo Ball Pozole and it was my favorite. 🥲 But fr fr, their fries are tossed in schmaltz & “crack spice” and I could eat buckets of them. 🍟 ❤️ 🪣
.
Seriously though, this Le Cluck (such a good name!) sandwich was really tasty and flavorful. I will definitely need another one before the special runs out. I’m open to going halvsies on this and a Firebird next time. Maybe a Cali Drip and extra fries. 😆🫱🏻‍🫲🏼😋
