A couple weeks ago I performed at @tobin_takeover hosted by @jaylen_alexandria and this was such an amazing for me! I’m truly grateful to had been a highlighted artist for such a beautiful event! I was able to watch others in the dance community while also scoping out all the amazing vendors. It felt good being able to support other artists and passions! This was also my first project under @artby_visionaries

With that being said, with my piece I strived to not only proved a point to others but also myself as an artist. This year has came with some many different hardships and lessons— some were tougher to swallow than the others. But, I somehow manage to make it through. Therefore, this specific piece I decided to post from my set meant a lot to me because it was a message to myself to let all the things that worried me go, which included friendships, and any negativity that has been weighing on me for the last year. And as there’s only 4 more months left into the New Year this is my early goodbye to all of those things!!

Furthermore, I want to thank my cast of dancers for being patient with me in this process, especially @getdownwit_johnny since she has been my the visual representation for majority of the dances and I’m truly grateful to have you in my corner🤍. I also want to thank @jilliannokeofficial and @yksheluvkeila_ for also being my backbone through it all and just being down for the ride. I truly appreciate you guys🫶🏾

Lastly, I want to thank @unknown_koolaid for being my support system through this year and also through the entire creative process of this set. This year has been incredibly special but challenging under your guidance and it has highly contributed to my personal growth and my growth in dance. I truly appreciate all the time in effort you have put into training me while also just being there for me wholeheartedly💙
