La edición nº2 de Get Inspired Magazine (2026), titulada “No Algorithm”, incluye la serie fotográfica “Back to the Basic”, seleccionada por su apuesta por la simplicidad visual y la recuperación de procesos esenciales.
El proyecto se inspira en la fotografía analógica de los años 80, reivindicando texturas, tiempos y decisiones que nacen del ojo y no del software. Una propuesta que dialoga de forma natural con el espíritu de la publicación: volver a lo elemental para recordar de dónde viene la imagen.

Get Inspired Magazine es una revista internacional dedicada la creatividad contemporánea. Su esencia: fotografía, arte visual, diseño y narrativas que exploran nuevas formas de mirar el mundo. Cada número funciona como un escaparate donde la estética, la experimentación y la sensibilidad artística se encuentran.
La revista reúne a fotógrafos internacionales, artistas visuales, ilustradores, diseñadores gráficos y creadores multidisciplinares ofreciendo un mosaico diverso de estilos, técnicas y miradas.

Para la publicación “No Algorithm”, se seleccionó a cinco artistas cuya obra aborda el tema desde
diferentes perspectivas. Tommi Viitala (p. 4) reflexiona sobre la velocidad del consumo de imágenes impulsado por algoritmos a través del movimiento y la distorsión temporal. Silke Seybold (p. 12) explora la duración y el espacio físico mediante prácticas analógicas lentas que se resisten a la exigencia de una visibilidad constante. Dina Belenko (p. 20) responde con un proceso táctil y artesanal que devuelve la presencia material a la imagen. Anna Lena Raab (p. 28) observa los encuentros cotidianos con un enfoque analógico intuitivo que abraza la imperfección y el azar.
Jordi Piris (p. 36) concluye con una exploración contemplativa de la luz, la geometría y la
reducción, creando imágenes que ralentizan la percepción y se alejan de la lógica de la
sobreproducción visual. En conjunto, sus obras ofrecen diferentes formas de resistencia a los sistemas que, cada vez más, determinan cómo se crean y se ven las imágenes.

I'm so honored to share with you my participation on Issue 1 of Get Inspired Society Magazine (2026) — an issue shaped around the theme Origins.

This first issue explores the beginnings of creative paths: the moments where intuition turns into direction, where curiosity becomes commitment, and where an idea starts to form a lifelong practice.

On Origins, photographers, designers, and visual storytellers reflects on their creative starting points — the root ideas, defining memories, and early impulses that continue to shape their work today. Mine was Panamanian, the first photographic series I conceived as a result of my nostalgia for my homeland.

Thanks to @andre_kreft curator and editor chief for choosing Panamenian as part of this first edition of his Get Inspired Magazine Issue.
