Every day you show up is another opportunity to learn, grow, and move closer to your goals. #findyourpurposelions

A huge THANK YOU to @chime and our partners @getknowlej for hosting today’s Attendance Activation Assembly and recognizing our students!

📚Every day in school brings another chance to learn something new, connect with friends and teachers, and grow. Strong attendance helps students stay connected and make the most of those moments. Keep the momentum going- one school day at a time!

Will our schools continue to produce distracted adults or will we revolutionize the experience for young people to create more discipline achievers!?!

See I don’t believe our students are unmotivated. I believe we have to give them something worth being motivated for!!!Look at this room! The energy. The hands up. The participation. The excitement!!!! This is the work we’re building Knowlej

Hey District and School Leader
It’s time to ask a different question, Instead of, “How do we make students comply?”

What if you were challenged to ask, “What motivates and inspires our students to show up, engage, learn and win?”

That’s why we’re building Knowlej around student engagement! Connecting attendance, learning, and real rewards in a way that makes progress tangible for young people. Because when you unlock the right motivation, you unlock something much bigger than attendance. You unlock possibility!!! The future of education isn’t just about measuring engagement. It’s about designing for it.

Let’s transform education together with

Be Revolutionary.

In 2020, I started with a backpack drive in South LA. This month, I stood in the Bronx with my team, closing out our 7th Annual Back 2 School Tour with 600+ families at the Iovine & Young Center.

Different city. Same need. Same answer: show up, listen, and bring everything families need to start the year strong.

I didn’t grow up thinking a kid from Crenshaw would be building community in New York. But that’s the thing about this work. It’s bigger than us.

Huge thank you to @principalrahh & @getknowlej & @new_york_edge. And to my @itsbiggerthanus_ team, who flew across the country to make sure every family left with what they needed.

Four States. Six events. 8,528 backpacks. One mission.

Community is the infrastructure.

Today we kicked off our new partnership with Knowlej, which will provide points towards tuition credit at over 400 universities and the ability to earn prizes like electronic gift cards and sneakers for meeting attendance challenge goals throughout the year. 🎓🔥

Showing up matters. Every day counts, every point adds up, and now our students can turn great attendance into real opportunities and real rewards.

We’re going ALL THE WAY UP! 🚀

What a great day at the @getknowlej Attendance & Family Summit!

I was honored to serve as the keynote speaker and share the stage alongside my brother and Knowlej founder, Amen Rahh, as we talked about the importance of normalizing positivity—in our classrooms, our communities, with our youth, and in our own lives.

I’m extremely proud of the work Knowlej continues to do around youth, education, and addressing chronic absenteeism. They’re fighting the good fight and making a tremendous impact where it matters most.

Saving our kids. Strengthening our communities. One positive experience at a time.

Normalize Positivity. ✊🏾
