God’s Favorite Personality!!! George Heroine ST out now on @loveanthemrecords ! ❤️👊👊🏾

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This Thursday, we celebrate 3yrs of @marsrecordshop Vinyl Nights at @degreesplato_oak in the @laureloakland 🎉 It’s been a fantastic ride, each month giving us something a little different. Huge thanks to the good folks at Degrees for supporting this special monthly record shop field trip. Shoutout to all the awesome DJs who’ve participated over the years! And of course, much love to all the folks who’ve dropped in to bop and shop and sip and flip. This month we’ll dive back into the oceans of Jazz Fusion, with my buddy Bubba and myself taking a crack at our fav selections. We’re both bass players so we’ll see what that means on Thursday. (It’ll also be Bubba’s bday pre-party btw! 🎂) Come hang with us and enjoy the foods, drinks, peeps, discos and sounds. We’ll se ya there, 7-9:30! #oaklandrecordshop #oaklandpopup #oaklandmusic #jazzfusionvinyl 🎺🪩

Thanks to @its_jesselynn_not_jocelyn for this awesome video of us playing Down on Today at Colin’s birthday party back in April. It was really fun having our original guitarist @getmuzzled on stage with us playing songs he recorded with The Observers on our early demos and first 7”. Those songs and releases are available on our Collection LP released by @takenbysurpriserecords

We’ll be back on the Blackwater stage January 16th for Jonny Fest #2 with Thee Cormans, Guantanamo Baywatch and many more. More on that later!

We had a blast playing a set at Colin’s birthday last Saturday. Thanks to everyone who came out to @blackwaterbar and helped us celebrate! It was very very cool to play with Muslim, our original guitarist. It’s the first time he’s played a live set with The Observers since 2003.

Here is the all of us playing Lead Pill. Extra props to the guy on crutches, crushing it up front! Video by @hotbits
