2026 has been a damn good year for music 🎧 I wanted to take a moment to give some love to the artists who made this year so much easier to get through, shouldn't need to wait until the end of the year to show your favorite musicians some love. \m/ With AI BS on the rise, supporting real musicians matters more than ever. Even if I sound like a broken record I’m going to keep shouting from the rooftops about real talent, no matter the genre, no matter where they’re from. A quick reminder: while streaming is great for discovering new Musicians, it doesn't pay the bills. Buying a track for just $1 puts as much money in an artist’s pocket as 250 to 300 streams on Spotify. If you fall in love with a band, grab a track on Bandcamp, buy the physical album, buy digital downloads from qobuz, or pick up some merch. It’s what keeps them going! Here are the bands that got me through this year, do yourself a favor and check them out: 🇺🇸 Still Sleeping 🇺🇸 Waves Apart 🇮🇪 Wolfhound 🇺🇸 Get Out Alive 🇫🇮 Arctis 🇮🇪 Chasing Abbey 🇩🇪 Jim Gardner 🇰🇷 SeeYa 🇮🇪 The Shamrocks 🇬🇧 Hopes Avenue 🇺🇸 F I N I S H E R #NewMusicDiscovery #SupportIndieMusic #BandRecommendations #SupportRealMusicians #SupportLiveMusic

TAG a Florida punk kid 👇🌴 FLORIDA SCENE (Part 1/4) — The Pioneers. Not enough people talk about how Florida is the Mecca of punk. Gainesville gave us Less Than Jake. Coral Springs gave us New Found Glory. And Jacksonville’s Yellowcard took backyard shows to MTV. This state built the genre — ska horns, pop-punk blueprints, and a violin on Warped Tour. And the scene isn’t dead. New Florida bands have taken up the torch and are running with it. We’re DRBY (Derby) 🏁 — a new South Florida pop punk band making music for the grown-up emo kids who became parents and never stopped feeling it all. We’re one of them. Our debut single “Fake It” drops October 30 on all platforms 🏁💛 What Florida bands made YOU punk? Drop them below 👇 FOLLOW @drbymusic for the countdown 👇 #FloridaPunk #FloridaEmo #LessThanJake #NewFoundGlory #Yellowcard PopPunk Emo ElderEmo SkaPunk WarpedTour ChristianPopPunk DRBY FakeIt October30 NewMusic DebutSingle
