Today we celebrate the heart and soul of Muay Thai— Ajarn Chai Sirisute, founder of the Thai Boxing Association of the USA. Thank you, Ajarn Chai, for the lifelong dedication, wisdom, and tradition you’ve shared with all of us. You’ve built a family that stretches across the world, and we’re so proud to be a small part of it here at the Academy. ❤️ We also want to take a moment to recognize our own Ajarn Harun Raja, whose passion and devotion keep the spirit of Muay Thai alive here in the Upstate. Ajarn, thank you for all the years you’ve spent sharing this art, pushing your students, and keeping us connected to our roots. And to all of our incredible Khun Krus — Sonya, Janet, Ben, Adam, Morgan, Kavon, and Rivers — we can’t thank you enough. Each of you brings something special to the academy. You teach with heart, you lead with patience, and you pass on Muay Thai the way it’s meant to be taught — with reverence, respect, and love for the art. Finally of course, a huge thank you to all of our coaches and assistant instructors who give so much of their time and energy to our students day after day. Your patience, encouragement, and consistency help shape the Academy into what it is. Ya’ll play such an important role in keeping our community strong, supportive, and growing — we see you and appreciate you! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 From me, Mariaisabel, and on behalf of all our students: Happy Khru Day! 🥊 🫶🏼🤙🏽 Thank you for inspiring us, for believing in us, and for making us fall in love with Muay Thai more every day!!!!! #RajaMartialArts #WTBAFamily #AjarnChai #HappyKhruDay #MuayThai #ThaiBoxingAssociation #MuayThaiTradition #WithRespect

Quick photo dump yall! 📸 Here’s a little update on what’s been happening at the Academy these past few weeks—plus a big Happy March! 🍀 We wrapped up February with Advanced Muay Thai rank testing—huge congratulations to our students for their hard work and dedication! 🥊 During one of our lunchtime sessions last week stay, we actually remembered to snap a picture after class, so we’re sharing it with you all now! Always a great time training and pushing each other to improve. Yesterday, Thursday, March 6th, we stopped by our sister school, Ethos Combatives, to assist with their Muay Thai testing. It was awesome to see their students step up and earn their ranks! 👊 And finally, today’s Lunchtime Sparring was bittersweet as we said goodbye to our student and fighter, Ben, before he heads off to basic training. We’re beyond proud of him and know he’ll bring that same warrior spirit to this next chapter. 🇺🇸 Exciting things are coming soon—there’s never been a better time to start training! Come check out Raja Academy and see what we’re all about! 💥

What an unforgettable year it’s been for The Academy! Morgan earned her Kru certification after her black armband test, personally recognized by Ajarn Chai—a huge honor. We also saw Kru Kavon and Kru Rivers achieve their black armbands and Joel earn his black sash in Wing Chun and Kali. Your dedication inspires us daily! 👀Also this year, Raja earned his blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu—a testament to his passion for learning and humbling himself in a new art, even as a black belt in several others. As Raja always says, “A black belt is just a white belt who never gave up.” Fighters like Ben, Justin, and Tim stepped into the ring, representing us with skill and heart. Ben also had an amazing year fighting on U.S. soil for the first time and got engaged—congratulations to him and his fiancée! To every student who leveled up in their art this year, your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. We see you, and we’re proud. Thank you to our incredible community of students, instructors, and affiliates. Since 2009, you’ve been the heartbeat of Raja Academy, and we couldn’t do it without you. Here’s to more learning, growth, and success in 2025! 📞 (864) 906-0146 📧 info@rajamartialarts.com 🌐 www.rajamartialarts.com
