@townestreettheatre ,LA’s Premiere African-American Theatre Company, proudly presents its most popular event of the year – the Annual TST Ten-minute Play Festival. This year’s festival is aptly named “What’s Going On?” Through fearless drama and ironic comedy, it explores the #MeToo movement, the evolution of gender roles, immigration, race and other up-to-the-minute cultural shifts and trends. An exciting, political, controversial, and groundbreaking group of performances will leave you asking yourself what is really going on in this world, and how can we address the tough questions of today?⠀

“You’ve got to find a way to live in truth. If you live right, you die right.” ~Aunt Ester, Gem of the Ocean
by August Wilson
.
Yesterday, members of the TST #theatrecompany, Advisory Committee and dear friends attended a most wonderful production by A Noise Within (@anoisewithin) It was powerful and yet another example of why August Wilson is one of the great playwrights of the 20th century. We loved it!
