If you are struggling READ below. I found my peace, but getting here cost me more than most people will ever know. There were days I showed up with a heavy heart and nothing figured out. Days I was disappointed in myself. Days when keeping one small promise to myself was all I could manage. I wish I could say I handled everything well. I didn’t. I’ve had to forgive, take responsibility, and accept that some things will never come with the explanation or apology I wanted. Somewhere along the way, I stopped putting my life on hold until I felt better. I started doing things worth feeling proud of. One workout. One promise kept. One moment with Olivia that I was present enough to enjoy. The progress means something to me because I remember how hard it was to begin. I know what was happening inside when nobody could see it. I still have things to work through. But I can look at myself today and honestly say: I’m proud of you. For trying again. For staying open to love. For building a life you want to be here for. I miss my mom. I wish she could see this chapter. And when Olivia looks back on these years, I hope she remembers a dad who laughed with her, showed up, and kept growing alongside her. This peace came at a cost. I’m going to let myself enjoy it. 🤍 #703training #running #ironman703training
