On this day I got to test out this song "Cabana" live on stage for the first time at the 2023 @folk_canada conference as an official showcasing artist. 🎤✨

This sealed its fate as a song to be recorded and released to the world. Now, it lives as one of the songs from the lead double-single and track 5 on my new album Kunlé - The Journey. 🎵

** Artists, I’m curious: At what point did you know it was time for your favorite song to finally leave the vault? 🔓👇

@amadodedeugarcia - percussion
@thisisomolola - talking drum
@teeb.sj - guitar
@therealwheresbaiano - drums
@chenerygeorge - bass

#BehindTheScenes Find a recording engineer and co producer who understands the song before you even explain it. @willcrann did that solid.

A little behind the scenes, tracking guitars for "Láú Ẹrẹbẹ" — Track 7 on my new album ‘Kunlé – The Journey.‘ 🎸🎧

"Láú Ẹrẹbẹ, ẹrẹbẹ láú..." 🥁

A song sung with pride, celebrating hard work and true heritage long before the modern world as we know it.

Hearing Track 7 from my new album Kunlé – The Journey spinning on @coolfmlagos (Lagos, Nigeria’s #1 hit music station) is a massive honour. Thank you for championing this music @velvetsandpaperlive

11 years ago, I walked onto a festival stage in Canada for the very first time—that festival was @mariposafolk.

Returning to these grounds feels like the ultimate full-circle moment. From that first performance to the Estelle Klein Stage 12pm July 4th, 2026, I’m deeply grateful for the journey. See you all today, 🎶✨"
