RACE WEEKEND. 🏃🏾‍♂️🔥

Everybody talking about the race…

I’m talking about SYLVAN ROAD HILL. 😈⛰️

That LAST hill when the legs are already tired.

This ain’t the hill to discover on race day. 😂

I went and introduced myself early.

IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW.

ATL MILES HIT DIFFERENT.
NO ESCAPING THE HILLS.™

FRIDAY MORNING RIDE 🚴🏾‍♂️🌅

21.85 MILES with some MEN I met through fitness.

That’s what I love about this journey. You start out chasing better health, and somewhere along the way you find community, good energy, new friendships and people willing to push right beside you.

That’s MELANIN POWER to me. ✊🏾⚡️
Strength. Movement. Community. Showing up for ourselves and each other.

And being able to put that energy on a shirt and wear it while I’m living it? That hits different.

I wouldn’t trade this journey for the world.

RISE & SHINE. ☀️

✈️ From stepping off the plane in DC…
🏨 checking into the hotel…
🏁 lining up at the start…
🏃🏾‍♂️ putting in the miles…
🏅 and crossing that finish line!

The DC Half was a whole experience. Fast, flat, well-organized—and those ATL hills had me prepared out there! 😂

If you’re looking to travel for a fast half marathon, chase a PR, or complete your very first 13.1, I definitely recommend this race.

ATL ➡️ DC. Same grind. Different city. Mission complete! 💪🏾🔥

Started the morning on Ghost — 5.27 miles on the bike. 🚴🏾‍♂️ Then jumped off and got straight to work on foot — 7 miles at a 7:38 pace. 🏃🏾‍♂️💨

Different wheels. Different miles. Same work. 💪🏾

And since we’re already talking miles… 👀

LAST NIGHT I WENT TO SLEEP WITH A PLAN.

This morning I woke up and EXECUTED IT. ⏰

🚗 Up and out.
🚴🏾‍♂️ Bike.
🏃🏾‍♂️ Run.
🏠 Back home.

The timestamps tell the story.

No waiting on motivation.
No negotiating with the alarm clock.
Just WORK.

And the crazy part?

THE DAY IS JUST GETTING STARTED. 🔥
