Just a moment to appreciate our RAZOR SESSIONS model @macshnazy and her gorgeous self. 🤍

Her hair was cut with @jataifeather Plier Razor, Nourished with @gmreverie MILK. Styled with @hairstorystudio Hair Balm and @afterworldorganics Texture Mist with a little @sparrowforeveryone Magic through her crown for some extra grit and lift.

McKenna is an absolute gem of a human. This is the second time I’ve had the honor of cutting her hair in front of a group of incredible professional hair stylists. The energy she brings along with her endless amount of gorgeous hair is a literal dream. She is just such an authentic and real cool girl. This educational session will introduce you to the straight razor and key fundamental techniques of using the tool. Together we will approach a razor haircut including an in-depth discussion on consultation communication, custom tailoring to the individual, hand styling and capturing the look on our live model.

This workshop will enhance your ability to create a bespoke experience for your guests by learning the ‘why’ behind the theory, how to customize looks by considering the head shape, density, growth patterns, texture of the hair and to the model’s features to create balance and what’s most suitable for the individual. We will also discuss the benefits and usage of eco friendly + clean haircare as we finish our model’s hair showcasing how to drop the brush and hand style for a looser lived-in look.

Whether you have been wanting to explore a new tool or you are a seasoned razor cutter, l believe you will walk away with a new perspective and some techniques you can apply with your own vision.

I’d love for you to come join me for this session all about RAZOR CUTTING!

This educational session is an opportunity to connect, be heard, and have open discussions amongst our group. Questions are welcome and highly encouraged. No previous razor cutting experience needed. Cosmetology students and DIY-ers are welcome as well!
