Never have I ever been more tired, or cleaned so much after another human being than I have with Waylon Atlee. This little answered prayer has led to thousands more prayers just to raise him well. This season looks totally different than I imagined it would, and while I wouldn’t trade it for absolutely anything (I mean, he is the most beautiful boy!), some days I really struggle under the exhaustion of it all. And not just physically! Straddling seasons with friends with older kids and more flex time — along with beautiful new (much younger) friends with little ones like mine — I can sometimes fall in the cracks between these communities and feel alone on the journey. But I think this is true for every mother of young ones at some point. We all fall down, we all wonder if we are doing ok, and if what we are spending our lives on this season (that often seems to go unnoticed) matters. From what I’ve learned from Scripture and in my life talking with so many older and wiser adults, these ARE the days and choices that DO matter, and we just need to stay encouraged at it. So if you need encouragement for it and are local, come tonight (6:30pm) to @gfcnowjc and experience life with other Mama’s of kids through elementary school who can relate and support you! @gfcwomen #toddlermomlife #buildinglives

Baptism Sunday!

What a beautiful service! Such a joy to witness our brothers and sisters go public with their faith.

Just when you think a season will last forever, it changes. ☀️🍁 Makes me so glad I have countless moments connecting with my girl when she was little (and dozens and dozens of videos of us over a decade memorizing Scripture or sending silly musical birthday messages to friends and family like this one😆). It’s something I am trying to remember to do with the Way man even as it looks different — because we just cannot go back! If you need encouragement though in this (exhausting) season of parenting, come join others in your boat (locally) for a gathering called, “Loving the Younger Years” 😍

Cost is $10
