🐾 CALLIE IS STILL WAITING FOR HER FOREVER HOME 🏡♥️

After spending most of her life surviving on the streets, our sweet senior girl Callie is finally learning what it means to feel safe.

Callie was one of the oldest cats in a colony in Honolulu and lived for years near the shipyard. When changes to the property made it unsafe for her to remain there, we knew we had to get her out.

And then she surprised us. 🥹

Outside, Callie kept her distance and would let anyone pet her. But once she was brought indoors, it was as though she realized she was finally safe. She started asking for affection, enjoying pets, and showing us the incredibly sweet girl who had been hiding underneath all those years of survival ♥️

She’s even become quite the little pastry chef, happily making biscuits in her new surroundings 🥐🐾

Now we want the final chapter of Callie’s story to be the very best one: a home and family of her own.

She has spent enough years surviving. It’s time for her to spend the rest of them being spoiled, comfortable and deeply loved.

The dust, the endless nights, sunrise missions, random conversations, getting lost and somehow ending up exactly where I needed to be.

Playing music out there, dancing with friends, running into people I love in the middle of nowhere, and sharing those little moments that only make sense at Burning Man.

To everyone who shared a ride, a dance, a sunrise, a hug, a set, a meal, a camp moment or just a few minutes with me — you made this one what it was.

My favorite Burn out of five.

Whiteouts so thick I lost myself in them. Rain that settled the dust like the universe knew exactly what we needed. Riding through zero visibility to get to my sets, unable to see two feet ahead but managed to survive through it all 😂

Every burn hits different grateful for the experience, the people, and everything this place does to you 🤍

Burning Man is not for everyone. It is far from Disneyland, and I would never recommend going there with a consumer mindset.

Just because you paid money does not mean everything is owed to you. What truly makes Burning Man is the community you become part of, the mutual support, the small acts of kindness, and the little things people do for one another day after day.

Friendships can break. Personal truths can surface. You may discover things about yourself you were not ready to face.

But in the end, only one thing really matters: being fully present, no matter what is happening in your life.

What existed before the Burn almost disappears. You are no longer exactly the person you were when you arrived, and you will not be the same person when you leave.

So to anyone reading this: live your Burn without expectations. Come prepared, stay open, and let yourself experience whatever is meant to happen.

Things happen out there. Magic is real.

Either you stay present, jump on the train, and embrace the journey… or you end up standing on the side of the road wondering where your next meal is going to come from.

Thank you to Lucy / Tree of Love for welcoming me into your family. You gave me the space to spread my wings, and trust me, this is only the beginning.

A special dedication to Josianne, who was always there in the background, acting as my personal secretary and making sure I didn’t miss any of the important messages while I was completely lost in the Burn. 😂❤️

And now, it is time to return to the Matrix.

The Man has burned, but his magic is still burning inside me, and it will stay there until the day he burns again. 🔥
