Can a harp produce sounds you’ve never heard before? 🎶
Icelandic harpist Gunnhildur Einarsdóttir is exploring precisely that: she is investigating new ways of playing the harp and exploring its sonic possibilities, whilst pushing its boundaries.
At the Atalanta Festival, she will premiere Fermi Paradox – a commissioned composition by Jobina Tinnemanns. The work revolves around the big question: if extraterrestrial life is statistically probable, why haven’t we found any traces of it so far? In short: “Where are they?” 👽
A wonderful opportunity to discover the harp beyond familiar notions of sound with Gunnhildur Einarsdóttir
