Some experiences are hard to put into words.

My third time at the Arabic Music Retreat — but this time, from a completely different place.
I came back not only as a participant, but as part of the teaching faculty, and had the incredible honor of sharing the stage with Simon Shaheen and so many inspiring musicians and teachers.

Sitting there, playing the oud alongside people I have learned from and looked up to for years, was a truly special moment for me.

Three retreats, countless lessons, beautiful friendships, and memories I will carry with me for a long time.

Grateful for every note, every conversation, every laugh, and every person who was part of this journey. ❤️

Until next time… 🎶

You cannot make peace with the devil. You cannot normalize evil. We RESIST this to our core.
