For my 35th birthday I entered Renaissance 🪩 Thank you so much Casey @icontips for your selfless deed of gifting someone with a chance to experience the cinematic and musical masterpiece that is the Renaissance World Tour 😌

This experience was deep to me! Firstly, I love my some Beyoncé since forever, that is my Virgo soul sistah, the greatest artist of my lifetime 🐝♍️

However, this experience was all about healing for me! I remember crying so hard when the Renaissance album first came out because I knew how much my brother, my best @ghanasims would have loved it.

During my 24 hrs in Houston, I felt him with me the ENTIRE time 🤞🏼💙

And now, like renaissance, I am ready to step into my rebirth. To accept life as it is now but NEVER forgetting what was. To live louder, love harder, be fearless! 🫡

Good, better, best, never let it rest, until my good is my better, and better will one day reunite me with my best 🪩💙

A great debate once raged in heaven. It was over a most beautiful and precious new soul that God had created. The angels debated what should be done with this soul. One group of angels demanded that this soul remain in heaven. "He is too pure, too holy to face the ugliness of the lowly world," they said. "Who knows what will happen to his soul in a world of temptation and evil. This soul must stay with us here."

But the other group of angels said the exact opposite: "Indeed this soul glows with a unique divine glow. But for that very reason he must go down to earth. For imagine the beauty and goodness this soul can bring to a dark world. What good is there in keeping such a soul in heaven? Let him descend to earth and shine his light there."

The case was brought before God Almighty. The angels stated their arguments before the heavenly court. God listened to the two opinions -

And this was God’s response:

"Indeed, it is sad to send such an immaculate soul into such a dark world. But this is My will. I only created darkness so souls like this one can transform darkness into light. The whole purpose of creation was that the lowly world be refined by the good deeds of mortal human beings. This cannot be achieved by souls in heaven. It can only be achieved through souls in bodies. And so even this most perfect and pure soul must descend to earth."

The first group of angels, who requested for the soul to remain in heaven, were disappointed.

God turned to them and said, "As for your request to keep this soul up here, I will grant it partially. Though he must leave us and go down to earth, it will not be long before he will return to us. His sojourn on earth will be brief. Such a brilliant soul will not need long to fulfil his mission. Soon he will be free to come back to heaven."

God then turned to the second group and asked, "Are you satisfied with that? Do you accept that this soul can only be on earth for a limited time?"

The angels replied, "Yes we do. Every day that he is on earth is a blessing."

Ghana, today, you turn 28. You would have been turning up by now best! You were full of life and your light was so bright, and honestly it still is! You’ve impacted my life in so many amazing ways. You taught me to run it up, to go get what you want, when you want it, to dress your best no matter the occasion, to have fun, and you’ve motivated me to “make that money don’t let it make you”! You would tell me that all the time. Every second without you is painful. I wish for a lot of things right now, but Ghana, I really wish you were still here. I wish we could talk, laugh, dance while you hype me up, and talk about our future again like we used to. I pray you continue to visit me in my dreams.

Today , (May 24th) my brother @ghanasims would have celebrated another birthday. Some people do not celebrate, others do the bare minimum, but Ghana 😂 yoooo, his day was a huge deal for him. Yesterday broke my whole heart baby brother. One of my best friends since birth. As kids you were always my sidekick, you and Chad. As teenagers my dance partner lol and as adults my loyal best friend. My brother. My baby. You really left us yo . Your siblings are not ok ! Mommy is not ok. Your family and friends are not ok!! You were everything to everyone. Everyone loved you and your spirit . We had so many plans. We were just planning a trip to Europe for next Summer🥺 (My baby didn’t even make it to his big 30th birthday he was planning y’all ) You were so full of life and had your whole life ahead of you. I will never be the same. We will never be the same brother. There is so much to say baby, smh . But I love you , we love you 💕 I don’t know who I’m going to vent to every other day lol .. I don’t know how I’m going to do this without you @ghanasims !! 🥺😢💔 Still processing this shit . It can’t be real life . Not right now smh … kisses and hugs all over bro !! I love you 🙏🏽🥰

Had a FABULOUS turnout at my first Art Show at BRANDYWINE FESTIVAL of The ARTS with my guest Artist, @goldenfordjones Golden Ford Jones. I didn't want to proceed because of the tragedy that hit our family, but our @ghanasims Ghana Sims would have been there. I kept finding myself talking to him as if he was there. And so he was in SPIRIT 😇 as we had a great show. 🎨

I also met great people interested in collaborating with me on a few projects related to Art Therapy, putting my Certification in Therapeutic Art Life Coaching to good use.

Thank you so much to all who showed support. I needed this distraction. Art always helps me heal. 🖤🖤🖤 Blessings!
